The shop is very clean! Could not be happier with the way my new tattoo turned out. Jay was awesome, friendly, and fun. Interesting play list of music while working. Will for sure go back again!

I went to Lily this past November to talk tot her about getting my very first tattoo. I was recommended to her by a good friend and I was looking for someone gentle and caring about their work. I found it with Lily! it was my first tattoo so I was very nervous. I came in with an idea and Lily took my idea and added her vision and the end result was a gift of art onto my body which can only be described as AMAZING! I am now getting my second tattoo with Lily and again I came in with an idea and I just told her "let your hands and thoughts create your vision" and she did!

I went to see Lily to get permanent makeup done on my lips. I asked Lily to do my lip line to bring it back a bit. I wanted a soft tone but she recommended a darker one and said it would fade to 40% so a tone darker would be better. Well I walked out with a dark brown lip line and it didn’t fade much at all even after a few months of healing. I’m a white person and the color she recommended was the wrong one. Not to forget, my lip line is on one side darker than the other now because she used more pressure plus overdraw my lip line. I simply trusted her to know what she is doing. When I went back to her to show and complain about it, she said I was too picky and that she regrets that she did my lip line. I had to go see another lady to have Lily’s permanent makeup on me correctly fixed. Not just one time but 2 times. It was painful and costly. I would not recommend Lily to do permanent makeup.

Lily was extremely rude and pretentious to my friend, who just wanted a simple snake tattoo. She called the tattoo ugly and insulted the piece. She insisted that she is too qualified for such a tattoo, constantly reiterating that she is “award winning”. My friend asked if she could give her a drawing as an example, since she didn’t want to copy a design online, and she said “she doesn’t draw” and she wanted my friend to just trust her. How ridiculous?! Considering this is her first tattoo, this was not comfortable for her. Lily wasn’t accommodating at all and made us feel very unwelcomed. If we were older and more traditional in appearance, I’m sure she would’ve treated us differently and with greater respect. Do not recommend her as an artist or a person whatsoever. Completely unprofessional!

I called the shop on a Monday and actually went in the next day for a consult. Lily greeted us at the door. I had some ideas for a scorpion I wanted on my forearm. Lily took my ideas and showed us some custom art that she drew up right on the spot - she was able to take my vague ideas and turn them into exactly what I wanted. What's more is that Lily was able to do the tattoo right then and there.
I live in Washington, DC and I think I'll wait to have any more work done until the next time I'm in Fort Lauderdale and have Lily do it. She and Doug made us feel at home and completely comfortable in their shop. I highly recommend Lily and Doug and Dragon Lily Tattoo!!
