I got a tattoo from Saje! Let me start by saying that it's EXACTLY what I wanted. Her line work is amazing. I couldn't be happier. I'm not from here and I was nervous finding an artist. I am so glad I did my research that led me to her. My spine tattoo is so straight and clean. I will definitely be back. An added bonus is that she is the sweetest person EVER. Very professional. Very understanding. Very knowledgeable. Thanks so much Saje!

kind of subpar. they may be amazing for tattoos, im not sure, but when I went in to get a piercing I booked an appointment for 4pm and didnt even get to see the piercer until 6. according to the man at the counter, the appointment i booked wasnt a "real" one, and they made me reschedule to a 5:30. Somehow, it was still 30mins late to the new appointment. Furthermore, the piercing was 85$ (100$ with the forced tip) to accommodate for covid. Ive gotten that same piercing at two other shops before, and its always been 40$. Its a fine shop if you have extra time on your hands and extra money, and maybe they were having a bad day, but honestly I probably wouldn't go back.

I had an appt for a consult but they apparently didn't put it in their book. They were not accommodating considering they screwed up. Had me wait 30 minutes for absolutely nothing. It seems as if they cater to women. I could barely get a word in with anyone. That would have been understandable if they were busy. From the outside looking in, they weren't. If there was something going on, they simply could have communicated that with me and we could have possibly worked something out. One person won't stop their business from thriving, but my money will not be spent there.

Great place!!! Saje is the bomb! She took me on as a walk in, and even scheduled me in later on the day I wanted to get my tattoo. She’s super professional. She communicated with me from start to finish. She was so nice, an absolute sweetheart! She made me feel comfortable and welcomed! Her work is more than extraordinary! She paid attention to ever detail of the tattoo I wanted, and did an amazing job bringing it to life, she took her time, and didn’t rush. Overall, the atmosphere of the shop is great! I really enjoyed my experience at Thunderbolt! I will definitely be back to see Saje for sure!

It took me a minute to find Duel again. As I am not a regular at getting tattoos, however, when I get them they are a pretty decent size for me and they mean a lot to me. Duel is my go to for this. He has an exceptionally creative mind and I can send him a couple pictures/ideas and he can turn it into art. He is always so patient and kind and I love his energy. I am so glad I know where he is again and I will always follow him. Amazing artist !!

I researched some of the top shops in Atlanta, and both my girlfriend and myself felt that Thunderbolt Tattoo was the right fit, and they did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly and really cool. We had Sage as our artist, and could not be happier with her work. In addition to being an amazing artist, she’s super cool. We highly recommend Thunderbolt Tattoo, and will definitely be back for our next ones!

Lauren did an AMAZING job on my tattoo. She really took her time getting the design perfect, and the process never felt rushed. She took two and a half hours to do the actual tattoo and made sure I was comfortable (as much as one can be when basically getting tiny little cuts) the whole time. The piece looks so great, and it was very affordable. The shop itself was very clean and well maintained. Will absolutely be going back here for any future tattoos.
