My tattoo started out looking great when I left the shop. Then, I received my after care instructions and I followed them to the T. Now, after about almost 2 months my tattoo looks dull and aged and nowhere near as vibrant.(not even close after healing). it appears certain areas u can barely see ink lines from the original design and I read somewhere that tattoos cannot be exposed to much sunlight. well that clearly wasn’t on my tattoo instructions. I think the whole communication about aftercare was lazy and when I brought the tattoo appearance to their attention all they made were excuses. I’ve seen other people get tattoos (from other shops)and theirs are looking very nice and I’m sitting here with a tattoo where some areas u can barely even make out the design. I must say as this being my first tattoo I left excited and now I’m very disappointed. I wouldn’t come back here at all I’ll get someone else to retouch it. Idk if it’s cheap ink or lack of detail but i won’t be back

Highly recommend making your appointment here with one of the artists at Tried and True! I recently got a tattoo from Nicole and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Everyone at this studio has such a positive and welcoming attitude :) I never once felt alienated or nervous.

My husband went to Rob Berrong about 10 years ago for 2 of his tattoos and he made such an impression that when I was ready for another one we found him and again he did not disappoint! He was accommodating, patient, friendly and he made me feel very comfortable in that this was permanent on my body so he wanted me to be happy.

Everything about this shop is great. It’s clean, the atmosphere is great, and the artists there are amazing. I got a piece done by Nick and it came out even better than what I wanted. Nick was very attentive to detail and made sure I was doing ok the entire time. I will definitely be returning!
Also, if you are thinking about piercings, Melissa is the best! She’s professional, kind, and extremely well educated on what she’s doing. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

I saw Rob Flat for a cover up on my back about a week ago. I was a baby towards the end of the process but Rob was super patient while also getting it done. Also, his assistant Mallory was very communicative with all questions before and after. I'll attach my picture for everyone to see. This tattoo exceeded all expectations and is even better than anything I could have imagined. Beyond pleased and will revisit with any future tattoos.

Just had tattoo cover up work started by Rob Flat yesterday. It was my first experience getting a tattoo at tried and true - was referred by a friend. Rob was really great to work with in planning my tattoo and he handled my lofty requests like a professional. Appointment started on time, tattoo parlor has an artistic and vintage vibe and very clean. Rob was very meticulous in getting the tattoo sized perfectly for my back and the cover up. But really - his work speaks for itself! Though my tattoo isn't finished, I am already in love with it! The thin outline is perfect, symmetry is spot on, texture in colored area is amazing!!! I can't stop looking at my tattoo! Rob is an awesome artist and I can't wait to heal so I can go back to finish my piece. Highly recommended!!

Tried and True is hands down my favorite tattoo shop in the world! I have some small pieces from other places, but I don't let just anyone tattoo me. I have been getting tattoos from Rob Flat for over 10 years! I don't even live in GA anymore but I will drive across the country for an appointment.

Chatted with Rob about having some work done and he was able to get me in same day. These guys have some serious talent. Friendly staff and a comfortable environment. He had some comedy playing while I was being worked on to help sit out the application and had a good laugh - exactly what you want from a tattoo studio.

My fiancé got a great tattoo from Nicole (@nicolev929) at Tried and True tattoo. She was very nice and professional and the tattoo which was all straight line work came out perfect! We will definitely be repeat customers of Nicole. The shop is also very nice and clean. If you are considering getting some ink, check them out. You won't be disappointed!
