Visited Tried and True with a friend as walk ins last Friday. Heidi did a fantastic job on my friends tattoo, a small script on her upper back. She was very helpful in picking out the right font as well as size and placement. I flipped through her portfolio while I was waiting for my artist to prepare and was very impressed. Colby did my tattoo. I gave him a basic idea of what I wanted and trusted him to come up with something awesome. I find I get a better tattoo when I let the artist do what they want compared to asking for something really specific. I was very impressed with the draft, and the final result blew me away. A last minute decision to get tattoos that night ended up being a great experience thanks to the staff at Tried and True. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality art and service.

Tried and True Tattoo is THE PLACE to go. The inside of the shop is absolutely incredible and the environment is very clean and very professional. Rob Flat (the owner) is doing my cover-up and I am blown away by his talent, his skill level, as well as his vision. I have every confidence in his ability to produce phenomenal work every time. I feel privileged to wear his art. Tired and True Tattoo DEFINITELY lives up to its motto "exceeding expectations".

I have gotten two tattoos from this shop, in the process of getting my third. Rob Berrong is an amazing artist. The shop is super nice and clean. I love the televisions in the wall, being able to watch Netflix is a nice bonus when your sitting for hours. I highly recommend this shop.

My whole experience with Tried and True was PERFECT! Mallory is awesome... totally on point with communicating with me... setting me up.. answering all I needed ..(never even had to ask)!! Asked me when I could come in....and got me in exactly when it was right for me!! And she’s the sweetest!!! Rob is also awesome!! Totally chill.. calm... patient.. professional....made me feel right at home... never for a second felt rushed.... felt so comfortable... he DeF was the perfect balance to my bubbly.. energetic.. personality!! My tattoo is perfect and is exactly what I always dreamed it would be!! I LOVE IT!!... and the studio is AMAZING!!! I could walk around and look at everything for hours!! Very Very impressive!! Absolutely beautiful!! Thank You Rob and Mallory so very much!! What a wonderful experience I had!! I will most definitely be back!!!!!

Rob Flat was extremely professional, clean, and proficient. He prepared the art prior to my arrival. I was late due to certain events that occurred but he and Molly (his assistant) were overly understanding. I certainly appreciated his attention to detail and patience & highly recommend him! Will be returning for more work.

Melissa is by far the best piercer that I have gone to! She was very honest in telling me that a certain piercing would not suite my anatomy, and that the piercing would fall out and be a waste of money for me. She gave another recommendation that was better suited for my anatomy, and also super cute! Her jewelry collection is also amazingly diverse, with unique pieces and cute, dainty pieces. Because of my positive experience with her, I also brought my friends to get pierced by Melissa. I am definitely planning on coming back to get more piercings once the ones I have heal.

I contacted Rob Flat and within a few days of expressing my ideas, he had me in for an appointment and nailed the tattoo better than any of the references I gave him.
