I went to check this place after a friend telling me about it, I was doubting one getting a tattoo but can’t unfortunately due to timing. But I got my little sister industrial pierced as a very over due 18th birthday present and Dex was truly great with it! Very nice, cute which I guess you could say is a plus! He was professional and very kind to her! Would definitely come here again!

Went there twice to try and get a tattoo and both times every single person in there was rude and so unprofessional. I don’t know who is running that place but it’s horrible. Spoke to us like trash. With all the bad rap they are getting right now you’d think they’d at least be decent humans… but none of them are.

My daughter has had her nose and Medusa Pierced and she came in with a new piece of jewelry and told her she better learn how to put it in her self (which she has tried and it never goes all the way in) he cussed and fussed with her over putting in a nose ring that she had already paid for. She had another piece of jewelry for her Medusa and he said it was infected which wasn’t because she has had it for years. He said the jewelry wasn’t gonna fit and was to tight. He spoke to her rude and he then asked where she got her latest tattoo at and he got mad that I didn’t get it in his shop. She told him bc there was a specific place and a person she loves, trust, and is fair with prices. Royal anchor (the manager) tries to over price you for something that isn’t worth the price. I will never go back. He cussed at me and told me I must be from the Hatchett clan in Pike county which was rude to say bc I know some of them and their great people. I felt degraded and was treated in professional. Dont go to Royal Anchor and spend extra money on piercings and tattoos that are fair when you can go to other places that do amazing professional job and still give you a fair price. They try to get you in and out and other shops don’t. From my experience it’s trash and no wonder they closed in Thomaston bc they couldn’t get anyone in.

I went to Built to Last Tattoos for my first tattoo and will definitely be returning for more! M.P. (Hanna) was quick, friendly, and the shop was clean. My tattoo turned out fantastically and I couldn't be more happy. This shop made my first tattoo experience super comfortable. I highly recommend it for anyone first tattoo or 30th tattoo.
