I love Mystic Owl Tattoo. After trying a couple of other places in the Atlanta area, I finally found my tattoo home. Since finding Mystic Owl, I have had three tattoos done. Each better than the last. I even took my seventy year old mother to get a tattoo there. I would highly recommend Mystic Owl Tattoo to anyone thinking of getting some ink. They are knowledgeable, talented and the shop is hella nice.

Great shop. Professional, clean and accommodating. My wife and I each got a small but awesome tattoo from Jeremy and we were in and out in 45 mins with an appointment (you can call or set up one from their website.) The shop also offers free consultations.

Edit: After posting a review saying that I was not happy with my tattoo done by another artist, they immediately reached out to me to see what they could do to fix it (great customer service). I got an appt with Chris and he was awesome! I got the original one fixed and added to at no cost to me. I'm 10000x happier with this tattoo than I was with the first one. I would definitely recommend Chris for a tattoo or a re-work.

Johnny did a great job interpreting what I asked for. My tattoo came out perfectly and is exactly what I wanted. My request wasn't complicated, but was very specific, and he took the time to understand what I wanted. The rest of the staff were just as awesome. Chris did a fantastic job. Very focused during the procedure and amazing rendering for a tattoo tht I chose to be difficult to execute. I cannot believe how well he succeeded in executing the perfect stamp to celebrate my US naturalization : that statue of Liberty on a French stamp is simply a chef d'oeuvre. go to the owl, be mystified and come out with smile and pride of having been tattooed by Chris. So I emailed and made an appointment to start planning for my first tattoos (I have two picked out) a few days in advanced. Well, the day of the appointment, I realized I was going to be late, so I called and told them. They were completely understanding and asked when I would be there.
I got there, and the inside was completely clean and nice. I checked in, and she said it'd be a minute. I sat and waited, and saw an artist working with another woman. About ten minutes pass, and he gets up to go sketch something for her. On his way to the back he turns to me and introduces himself. After formalities I showed him the ideas that I wanted, and he immediately shut down.
I think it was because they were small and would only take one hour combined. He explained that he couldn't copy someone else's work, and I said I understood. I asked if he could give me a basic sketch of what he was thinking, because the one was small but intricate. He refused, saying that they only draw if they know the customer is going to get the tattoo. I said I couldn't say that until I knew what I would be getting, and that I was trying to compare from a few other places. Then he told me that I didn't need to get my tattoos there and walked away.
While I'm sure the tattoo's would have been fine, I;ll never know because their customer service is so bad. Basically, don't go there unless you want something big, so they can charge you for more time.
