"Charlie Cu has been tattooing since 2005, taking his craft across the United States before settling in Atlanta, Georgia. His fascination with the arts began at a young age. Charlie’s love of the visual mediums, painting and sketching, pushed him to pursue tattooing, where he decided to center his focus. The root of Charlie’s inspiration for his work lies in Japanese and American traditional tattooing, two of the most influential styles of the craft. Over the years, through his study of classical tattooing, he has grown to pursue a wide range of tattoo styles, including black and grey realism, portraiture, and surreal subject matter."

Really enjoyed my experience and am absolutely in love with the finished product. Charlie is great. Very down to earth and personable. Liked the fact that he took the time to sketch the design out and give suggestions on how to really make what I wanted come together nicely. I'm not at all knowledgable about tattoos and the different techniques. So I greatly appreciated how patient he was with answering my questions and showing me examples of the techniques he would use for my cover up. Will most definitely come back again!

I have personally met Charlie when i was 19 years old. I've gotten my first tattoo from him and have been going to him for over 5 years now. His work and hospitality is a 10 out of 10. His work is clean and makes sure that you have the best work done for the right price. The art work speaks for itself. He is an amazing guy and I will always travel the distance to get work from him. Charlie is super down to earth, and is truly an expert at what he does. He has logged over 28,000 hours of tattooing throughout his career (we did the math lol). That's a lottt of tattoos. You can trust this man to make your vision a reality. It's rare to meet artists who truly care about the work they put out into the world. One of the hardest working men I've ever met, and always strives for perfection. Charlie made my 16 year old dream come true and I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about getting a real piece done. 20/10 would recommend

Awesome guy. Great artist. Very understanding. If you are looking for a talented and understanding tattoo artist, this is your guy. Usually when you go to an artist, it is very uncomfortable and awkward, but Charlie makes you feel like he's your friend and takes the tension out of the session. His skills are phenomenal, one of the best artists I've seen in the Atlanta area. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with him if you are interested in getting some work done. His Japanese style is incredible!!

I researched and asked around for suggestions for a great tattoo artist to use for a matching tattoo for my sister and me as a Christmas gift to her. Charlie came highly recommended. We were introduced to Kenny, who was the artist who actually completed all of our tattoos and he was AMAZING. The line work is on point, and he was very honest about what he could make look good and what wouldn't work. Fairly priced and he made us very comfortable. I will be booking another session with Kenny in March and cannot wait! Thank you guys!

I had very high expectations coming in and Charlie easily exceeded them. Great to see an elite artist so passionate for his craft and doing it the right way. Extremely talented, creative and detailed-oriented, yet very humble and willing to listen. I presented him with a challenging concept of merging realism with the mythical and he knocked it out of the park. Studio is spotless and the atmosphere is inviting. Overall, could not ask for a better experience—top notch work, fair priced, and personable staff. Will be back, highly recommended.
