Charlie’s love of the visual mediums, painting and sketching, pushed him to pursue tattooing, where he decided to center his focus. The root of Charlie’s inspiration for his work lies in Japanese and American traditional tattooing, two of the most influential styles of the craft. I got my first tattoo done by Charlie. I had an idea of what I wanted and the size, but as soon as he drew up the outline, I was in love. I have a big back piece so it took 3 sessions to finish. I enjoyed all 3 sessions because he made sure he held conversations to ease the pain. He is such an amazing artist that I would definitely come back for future pieces!

He takes care of his clients better than any other artist I know and did an absolutely stunning job on my sleeve. I decided to get my second tat done by Charlie after a recommendation from a really good friend of mine. I discussed the tattoo I wanted while my friend was getting tatted and we exchanged numbers so that I could set up an appointment. My first session was about 2 hours long and he was very aware of my tolerance level and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I had a different idea in mind when I thought of this tat, and Charlie helped solidify my idea and create it in and way that was artistically pleasing and ultimatley, a better tattoo.
He is an excellent free - style tattoo artist and overall, a pretty cool cat. I am never hesitant to recommend him to any and all friends who want to get a piece done. I've done my research on tattoo shops, and I wouldn't recommend anything less of the best. If I'm willing to go back and get a 3rd piece done by him, I'd say that in self is credible enough. Hopefully, we can hook this back piece up in the next few months. :)
