Had an old tattoo that I’ve hated for 12 yrs. After searching for a tattoo artist I felt comfortable with to cover it up, I stumbled across Ben Kelly at Red Ocean! I admired his work for a bit then went in for a consult almost a year ago! Kept thinking really! I’m gonna wait almost a year for this guy?!?! Absolutely the best decision ever! I could not be happier with his creativity!!! He’s an absolute perfectionist and my tattoo is now a work of art that I’m so proud of, rather than an embarrassing spur of the moment regret! Had a full patriotic sleeve done on my right arm by Mr. Ben and it was a pleasure to have him work on me. He took what I wanted done and came up with a design that covered the existing tattoo so well that you don’t even notice the old tattoo. He was friendly and didn’t mind talking with me through out the entire process. Have gotten a ton of compliments on the piece. I will definitely be going back to Red Ocean for the left arm sleeve. Was worth the wait to get in the chair. Can’t recommend him enough.

Ben is a great humble artist and really knows his stuff! He's super nice and easy to talk to and has a lot of interesting things to talk about and say. He did my tattoo with precision, dedication and with such impressive quality.
He is a fantastic tattoo artist with a great eye for detail and is incredibly hard working and attentive. He did not falter once during the 4-5 hours he worked on my piece.
Please check him out if you'd like to get a beautiful tattoo with clean lines and bold colour. Definitely coming back to Red Ocean/Ben to add to the tattoo (hopefully will become a sleeve!) that he did for me or just in general for another.

A lot of people recommended going to Red Ocean and after looking through portfolios I was so impressed with the work Ben Kelly and the other artists did but I was so drawn to Ben Kelly's work. I Immediately knew this was going to be a perfect fit for me. This shop has such an amazing atmosphere, everyone was so friendly and the artists really make you feel at home and taken care of. The ink removal is awesome. The artist done a really awesome job with my neck. He also kept in touch with me after having the removal to check on the healing stages. Also, they give do and don't before doing ink work. They are also go with the medical. I know I will be back to have my removal finished. Had my back done.
