A. I was on time early even and the person I was scheduled with initially asked me to wait up to an hour later to get started because she was running late. I declined as it was going to make it too late for me. She was 15 min late to scheduled time.
B. I was shown a sketch that was nothing like was discussed or shown as reference. I wanted a gnome and this was like a chubby barbie...
C. I was scheduled with an artist whos own profile it says "fine line black and gray" and I like bright and colorful and I feel like one of the others who list bold/ color would have fit what I described better.
I left in tears it felt like a joke....and I'm out $ for nothing. It's honestly probably not a bad place they have great reviews tattoos look fantastic.... Looks very clean in there so that's a plus... But I waited for months for this to get nothing... I guess my only suggestion is ask for pictures of the sketches along the way that's what I should have done.

Decided last minute while visiting Savannah to get a little memento tattoo. I was so lucky that Hilliary had an opening for the cutest little flash piece. The shop is beautiful and very welcoming to all, you can feel it as soon as you arrive. 100% recommend Riverside it would definitely be my go to shop if I lived in Savannah.

This place is amazing, the atmosphere is down too earth, and not at all like the other tattoo shops I’ve been too. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be spreading the good word about Riverside!

Caroline and Lila were very helpful in the booking progress and Josie really listened and was able to understand my idea in a way other places I talked to couldnt.
Since I was driving down from Raleigh, Josie was super accommodating and we did our consults remotely. This allowed us to discuss the art and any corrections before I got there.
By the time I drove down, everything was completely set and ready to go, so my confidence level was high. We did a 7 hour session with a few small breaks, which is no easy task for either of us, but she totally nailed it and it was worth all the pain, time, and travel.
I’ll be heading back soon to continue to the work on the piece and can’t wait to see the next stages!

This awesome artist (Lydia) deserves six stars. I am a relative newbie to tattoos, but, even beyond her being the exact kind of artist (she's incredibly talented) you would want doing one of your first tattoos, she was super patient and accommodating about the whole process. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

I had a great experience! A very welcoming environment! My artist, Robyn, was so patient with me. Even after I had them move the placing 1,2,3,4….times. But we finally got it in the right place and I am so happy with how it turned out! Definitely recommend!
