This past Friday I went back to Permanent Ink for a tattoo. I got a tattoo from them in 2008 and loved it. After seeing a coworkers tattoo, her mentioning she got it at Permanent Ink, and reading the awesome reviews I decided to go back. Very laid back atmosphere and Jared was great! Told him what I wanted and he literally free hand drew it on my arm. At first I was nervous at him drawing it free hand and not tracing but after seeing his final sketch on my arm I ended up giving him creative freedom and I was elated with the finished result. Will definitely be back. He's officially my tattoo artist!

From the time I walked into the shop, I felt welcomed. Jared gave me my very first tattoo and "popped my tattoo cherry." He has a very light hand. I was nervous at first, but he talked me through everything and let me know what was going on before he started. He made feel very comfortalbe. Definitely going back for more.

Just went in and Jared gave me and my dude perfect "lettering" tattoos. The lines are flawless! He even gave me a consultation about a tattoo I've been wanting to get re-done. After a couple of laser treatments I will definitely be back so he can correct my other tattoo.

First off I called 4 days before my 18th birthday, I was very excited to finally get a tattoo and couldn't wait any longer, Paul was the one to answer the phone and was extremely polite and made me feel very comfortable. I came in to the shop that same day I called with my design idea and where I thought it would go on my body, after an hour of talking to Paul I felt comfortable that he knew exactly what I wanted and I was more than happy with the price he gave me. Needless to say when I came in yesterday and saw the finished design in his hands I almost cried, Paul not only saw what I envisioned but he made it so much more elegant. This was my first tattoo and Paul made the whole experience very relaxing and comfortable (even though I had two of my friends in the room too!), he stayed professional and didn't mind my friends keeping me company. After about 3 and a half or so hours I have the beautiful tattoo vision I saw in my head on my arm, I was very overwhelmed with joy and was proud to show off the tattoo Paul did to the other tattooers. I got exactly what my money paid for and I can't be any happier. I can guarantee I WILL BE BACK for another tattoo when I have the money because this shop is just amazing. I will be showing off my tattoo as much as possible and I just can't get over how beautiful it is. THANK YOU SO MUCH PAUL!!

Showed up for a consultation on Friday and my entire coverup was done on Saturday. Jared Shugart was rocking the Motown & 2 conversations later it was done.
His hands were gentle like he was making love. Barely felt anything, less painful than a mosquito bite. The only place I’ll ever visit for all my future tattoos. Jared is on his way to the top & his art is amazing. Better make your way to him while you can.

Just go my first tattoo done at Permanent Ink. Everyone there was awesome, and I'm stoked about my new tattoo! It turned out exactly as I hoped, and it was a great experience for my first tattoo. On top of that, the prices were reasonable, and they also didn't pressure me into buying all these aftercare products from them. I will definitely be returning to get more work done in the future, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone getting their first tattoo or even their hundredth one!

I actually stumbled across this location because my tattoo artist was "too busy"..I'm so glad I came! They took me at almost closing time and were helpful with creative ideas. Not to mention, Paul has a super light hand when it comes to tattooing. It never really hurt or bled! Definitely trying to think of something else to get so I can go back! Awesome service!!!
