My daughter and I went to the shop for matching coverups for an existing mother/daughter tattoo. Yogi was incredibly friendly and patient. He worked with us to come up with an idea to hide the existing tattoo, but also was still matching and individual for each of us. His shop was impeccably clean and he is meticulous about keeping everything sterile and clean during the tattoo. His sense of humor made the experience so much fun. He’s a great guy to spend a few hours with as well as an incredibly talented artist. Not only was the coverup incredible on its own, we have now decided to go back to add to it!!!

This was my second visit with Jake Lyon. Great experiences! Very talented artist! My wife and I were greeted upon entering, offered refreshments AND reassurance during this ongoing pandemic. We felt comfortable 100% of the time. I forgot my mask and was provided one. The owner made a point to greet us as well. Super clean shop! Great positive atmosphere. Great conversation. Only reason I selected five stars was because six wasn’t available.

I have been wanting to get a portrait of Kurt Cobain done for over a decade, but finding the right person to do it has been truly challenging. I stumbled upon Yogi & Messenger by word of mouth & as soon as I saw his work on Instagram I knew he was the one to do it. His talent in realism art is just jaw dropping! I get compliments on Kurt everyday & the tattoo makes me smile every time I see it. The studio itself is supremely clean, the staff there is super friendly & professional & I personally reccomend these guys any chance I get! You are truly getting what you pay for there & it's worth every penny! Thank you so much Yogi! 😁👍❤

Very clean working space and the artist were very hospitable, offering me beverages before getting my tattoo done. This shop is top notch! As a nurse, cleanliness is a priority for me and this shop sets the bar high. I have been tattooed by Blake, David, and Yogi. I would recommend any of them. All 3 made me feel comfortable. Easy to get in contact with for follow up care/questions too!!

I had Yogi Barrett in my sights for years. I wanted him to do a Rawhead Rex tattoo. Man he didn’t disappoint. Not only is he awesome, he doesn’t have hammer hands. As soon as I walked into his shop I could tell he put a ton of work into it. Down to the paint color! I was a nurse for 7 years and he doesn’t contaminate his field. The other artists are nice and they all jive well. Front desk girl is obviously the grease on all the gears. I spent about 12 hours there and it was a lovely experience from beginning to end.

Yogi is world class and I am very happy for the opportunity to be tattooed by such a talented dude. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for excellent work.
