Came to visit my brother and we had been looking for a shop to get these done while I was there. Dustin was a super chill dude who took us both the same night we stopped in. The shop itself has a cool atmosphere, would definitely recommend this place

About a month prior to visiting Waikiki on vacation I started communicating with Kevin by text (after going on the website). He was responsive and patient with all of my questions. Went for my appt on the day before I flew home. Josh Crowell was my artist (he's on Instagram - check out his amazing gallery). The shop was clean, the guys were welcoming. Josh was professional and friendly and I love my new tattoo. 5 stars would definitely recommend Josh and Sacred Art Tattoo. Good for first timers or previously inked. 😁

So I went earlier this summer to get my first tattoo, and I got to say it was a great experience. I made an appointment online and got a response a day later. From there I was able to set up a time, etc. I got the chance to have my art done by Mino, who did a fantastic job, making sure I like the art before the inking started and made sure I was okay during the process. The place is a comfy area, both the staff and customers are friendly. Overall great place to get one.

My wife and I decided we wanted tattoos on our trip and were recommended this place by a couple locals and it didn’t disappoint in fact 3 other people from our group decided to get tattoos here also and a few others who regretted not getting one after seeing ours. Very reasonably priced, knowledgeable, and professional staff. Spoke with Jay who is very talented who set us up, but all of the guys working seemed to be very good artists and knowledgeable with their profession! If we make it back to the island my wife and I have already said we would be getting another one from these guys!!!!!

Booked an appointment for two 5 days prior with them and arrived on time for the appointment day of to be treated poorly; no acknowledgement and waited over an hour after the scheduled time to still receive no service or any idea of when we would both be tattooed. While 2 walk-ins were serviced before us and with a potential of waiting another hour or two before being tattooed. To also see the tattoo artists treat their receptionist terribly in a misogynistic way and the too cool for anyone vibes from the artists. Just bad vibes all around.
Cherry on top - hearing an exchange from a customer who was getting a tattoo done in another language and as this customer was working with his tattoo artist on placement and overall design prior to the tattoo, the tattoo artist says “well it’s not like you know what it even says or you can read it anyways.” Same cool guy tattoo artist was vaping and drinking beer in the shop.
