yall this place is amazing. jesse was at the front made me feel really at home. i was waiting for a friend for them to get tattooed and ended up getting one myself. this place is like a family and overall made me feel super comfortable and my tattoo came out amazing thank you so much to jane. i love this place and definitely will come back for more<3

I was looking for shops to get my first tattoo done. I came across SDT and found a couple artists there I liked. I did a consultation online and an hour later received a call and a booking with Angel.
I had an idea of what I wanted but I wasn't sure how it would look. I gave my ideas to Angel and he gave me a piece I couldn't believe. Everything I wanted was there and more. The staff was amazing the artists all made me feel comfortable and they were all knowledgeable. After 9 hours the tattoo Angel promised was delivered. Thank you everyone at the shop for the experience and the tattoo.

I attempted to schedule a consultation with an artist here in Honolulu. The process of even scheduling was analogous to calling a major cable company to fix an internet connection issue. I got text messages from someone who is not even in the area... asked for a picture, size,ect ... then when scheduling an appointment I got “can you come in today?...” to which I could not but suggested the next day. “ to which I got, well what day will work for you...” it kept going in circles and is not accustom to what a true tattoo parlor should be. This place is 100% corporate ran.

I’ve been coming to Skin Design Tattoo for the last few months and with my next appointment approaching I thought I’d share my experience with Skin Design and their staff!
First and for most the building is breath taking with a million dollar view and feels like you’re on cloud 9 when you walk in. Very clean and unlike any shop I’ve been in, the staff is extremely nice, it’s truly a little famila at skin design
If you are looking for an artist that you can spit your ideas to and for them to understand & are able to put it down on paper ask for Lynn. I’ve had the pleasure to work closely with Lynn who works for her passion and you can see that in her drive and the work she puts out. which is just one reason why I can’t stay away from this place. She’s a true pleasure to be around which is very important when you’re in a chair for 9 hours ;) very professional, light handed and creative. Can’t wait to come back for more

Out of all the places I’ve gotten tattoos on island this is by far the best one. Its owned by a tattoo master, Robert Pho, so they have outstanding artists working with him.
I personally recommend Jacko (@jacko_sdt) as the dude is a hard worker and a hell of an artist. He does great line work and even better realism. I couldn’t be happier with the dope sleeve he gave me and can’t wait to go back for my next one!
