"Tattoo reviews here only please. The Collective is a unique enterprise designed to enable people to “check out and chill out”. We have award-winning tattoo artists (Tattoo) @thecollectivekailua. Open 7 days 10:00am - till finish (portfolios linked on our website and instagram). The adjacent Café is transitioning during June 2023 and will soft open July 1st. Tattoo shop phone 808-230-8832. The gallery art is rotated giving artists a modest space to hang their works. We also have live music on Sundays next to our exterior mural. This is such a chill spot!! Love the setting, the staff is so cool and helpful with menu suggestions, you have the options of sitting inside or outside. It's nice, I like it. It gives off this vibe, it is hard to say, but you CANT get your order to go - at least for me. The setting to sit and enjoy your beverage and or food order is just too tempting. Check it out!

I love the cafe/tattoo shop combo. Great jewelry on display for purchase, too. While I enjoyed the lavender tea and new earrings, my tattoo from @sinjeezus took the cake. Absolutely stellar artist with attention to detail. Very up front about taking their time and giving me the best work available. Recommend to everyone.

I was a walk in for a tattoo, they were super nice and got me right in. I loved the outcome of my tattoo Jimmy did an amazing job! He has such light hand work I hardly felt my thigh piece. If I'm ever back in Hawaii I will come back to this shop and request Jimmy!

Sin was awesome! Walked in with several different ideas and we collaborated together to come up with a super fun, unique design we were both excited about and it turned out amazing! Talking about placement he brought up a lot of really good points and he printed out tons of different sized stencils to make sure it was perfect. He’s got a light hand and is very talented. Highly recommend and looking forward to working with him more in the future!

A very cool place! This coffee/tattoo shop and bakery was recommended by a friend and described as “good vibes”. Needless to say I was not disappointed. Although limited on indoor space there is a small section outdoors. The menu and layout inside was all over the place but not in a bad way, the best way to describe it is well “Good Vibes” or Familiar. Food was excellent, coffee was amazing, and the singular staff I had that day was beyond friendly.
Parking for me was a bit hectic but could of been easily avoided if I had brought $1.50 (2hrs) in quarters for the pubic garage a block away.

My friend and I had an awesome experience getting tattood at The Collective. Lisa was talented, chill and receptive. We love our tattoos and I'm already planning on coming back here for my next. An added bonus is the collective coffee shop next door, a perfectly eclectic and relaxing environment to post-up in for a while to marvel at your sweet new tattoo...or you know, just hang out and do your homework or revel in the company of your nice cool friends.

Beyond thrilled with this shop and especially Josh. Absolutely love the atmosphere here. Josh was so helpful, amazingly talented, and we also got to listen to some great tunes while he worked on my tattoo. I’ll definitely be coming back every time I make it out to Hawaii. Amazing creatively decorated shop. very clean, neat, and organized.

Visited in late July 2019. Booked time with 2 artists for a family tattoo day to memorialize our trip to Oahu. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Joshua inked an amazing honu- exactly how my brother envisioned. Lisa stepped in for a last minute touch-up on my nephews chest piece and guest artist Flor from Argentina finished up the session with a beautiful fine line mermaid for me, butterfly for my daughter and red hibiscus for my nephew. Highly recommended The Collective. Class act tattoo shop all the way. 👍🏻 I will be back on my next visit to the Island 🌴 👏🏻
