"Tattoo reviews here only please. The Collective is a unique enterprise designed to enable people to “check out and chill out”. We have award-winning tattoo artists (Tattoo) @thecollectivekailua. Open 7 days 10:00am - till finish (portfolios linked on our website and instagram). The adjacent Café is transitioning during June 2023 and will soft open July 1st. Tattoo shop phone 808-230-8832. The gallery art is rotated giving artists a modest space to hang their works. We also have live music on Sundays next to our exterior mural. My wife got two tattoos done on the same day with Lisa. The studio was super clean and very hygienic. She was able to incorporate themes from different tattoos that my wife liked into two cohesive designs that were completely unique but still had all the qualities she was looking for. They came out perfectly. Would definitely come here again.

Josh is an amazing artist and was super cool! My mom was visiting me and we got tattoos together. The tattoo is super detailed and well done, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be going back to get more tattoos from him.

Lisa is amazing!! I had a half sleeve theme I had been working on for over a year. I came to her with all my ideas and even through my type A personality and fear of such a huge tattoo on my arm forever, she worked with me, listened to my ideas and desires and concerns, and came up with an INCREDIBLE, BEAUTIFUL half sleeve, EXACTLY what I wanted! She rocks! Collective tattoo is clean and welcoming and has a cafe connected for an easy food break during a long session! Will always come back and recommend to everyone!

I highly reccomend to anyone looking for a tattoo. Everyone there was super nice and helpful. Our tattoo artist Robert-Joseph did an amazing job- I loved how my tattoo turned out. A friend and I did a walk in tattoo and we were both very happy with the result.

I normally don’t post reviews online, but I felt it necessary in this case. The Collective is a really refreshing take on a tattoo shop. Great coffee, great people, and they’ve done well with their shows in the evenings (comedy/cabernet ). Above all, Lisa and Alex are incredible artists. Take a look at some of that work online. The detail oriented approach is uncanny. Traditional work and Polynesian styles are exceptional as well. I’ll be going back for some more work for sure.

True to the name...collectively a great space for art, food and tattoos! Lisa made my idea for a tattoo become a beautiful piece beyond what I could've imagined. This space serves as a great community spot to enjoy local art, and a great menu. A true gem.
