Mid-Pacific Tattoo

Spur of the moment, I decided to get a permanent souvenir while vacationing in Maui. Nate was able to work me in and did an amazing job on my first tattoo. Very pleased with how I was treated and how my tattoo turned out.

This location was suggested to us by Boze at Pride Ink. Boze was booked and was unable to work us in. Boze is a local favorite and has worked with our good friends on a previous visit. Mid-Pacific was professional and had artists with different styles. Whether you're looking for simple to Polynesian they have the talent for you. Three from my family had their first tattoos done here. Tommy was my wife's artist and I worked with Jared. My daughter had Buge as her artist. We are totally satisfied with our tattoos.

Everyone wants to know pricing and it's hard to just throw out a number. Look at the artist's photo book for their own style and inspirations. Expect to pay upto $200 an hr and it totally depends on what you're looking for. They won't gouge you but you have to remember good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't necessarily good.

This review is merely for the excellent customer service my wife and I received from Mid-Pacific Tattoo. Our tattoo appointment had to be cancelled due to Hurricane Lane approaching the island. Instead of doing what a few other businesses did, Mid-pacific refunded our full deposit back. We will definitely be back in the future to get tattoos done by them.

Top notch facilities. Friendly courteous folks. Reasonable pricing and lots of designs to choose from if you don't want a custom tattoo. I had a custom Polynesian hammerhead shark and it turned out very nice. Highly recommended.

This guys work with you to give you exactly what you want. I was in Lahaina for vacation, and these guys stuck with me through four or five changes of plans. They worked around my budget, my schedule, and my concepts. I left with a beautiful tattoo. Each of the artists are on point--I've seen live examples of their work. Easily the top parlor in Maui.

Be ready for their change of location though!

My sister and I got our Maui Souvenirs from Matt on Oct. 1. So far so good. All is healing up and they are BEAUTIFUL. Can't wait for the full color to show.
Matt drew up what we wanted, added some custom touches and 45 min. later BAM.
Matt is very personable, puts you at ease and is a "true" artist. So happy we found him. Go see him if you are looking for a great souvenir from the island.

While on vacation in Maui I had planned to get a tattoo that I have been wanting for a long time and to remember my trip. So I booked an appt. for my last day of vacation so it wouldn’t be exposed to sunlight or water.
A day before my appt. I got a gigantic rash on my arm where I had planned to get my tattoo. Its on my entire forearm up past my elbow. I have never seen anything like it and after a google search it looked like a rash that the Covid-19 virus can cause. Scheduled a Covid test and was told to self quarantine. In the interest of keeping people safe at the tattoo parlor I thought it best to cancel the day before.
I asked for a refund of my deposit bc I had no control over this rash and we are living through a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. The receptionist was nice and said she’d ask her boss and call me back. About an hour later she called me back and told me I was out of luck and asked me if I wanted a tattoo somewhere else. I had planned this tattoo forever why would I want it somewhere else? And why would I want to expose others to the possibility of Covid. So much for me trying to do the right thing.
She told me he could of booked the spot. Yeah I get that but I called a day before and I know he’ll get booked. I’m also a single parent trying to get through a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. I didn’t even pay for this trip it was a gift from my mom.
Every other company I’ve come in contact with on the island has been so understanding, accommodating, and gracious. Acknowledging the possibility of Covid and wishing me well and apologizing for my trip being ruined + full refund. Now I sit in my hotel room, in quarantine, out 100$ bc I can’t control a GLOBAL PANDEMIC!

This place welcomed me with open arms and was awesome from the start. Tommy was my artist and he did an AMAZING job. If you want a high quality tattoo with wonderful people, go here. Highly recommended.
