We’ve always wanted to get tattoos on Maui, so we found a place about a month before our trip and texted with the artist what we wanted and he was all ready for us when we came in today. Eddie at The Skin Factory was so friendly, didn’t think my wife was dumb that because she is a fainter and got us done super fast.

My friends and I went there for tattoos during our vacation. What a lovely place! Super clean! Eddie really made all of us feel comfortable (It was one of my friend’s first tattoo) and really worked on our designs so we would all be really happy! Amazing experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

UPDATE: So the business posted a reply. I am a legit customer and i haven't posted a picture of my tattoo from you ANYWHERE! That's the tat pic that shows for your business ya goof! Eddie doesn't like a negative comment. I gave you a 4 star rating and was all positive.....the tat is the issue and now apparently your attitude is too. Sad.....Peace!
Really nice CLEAN shop. Eddie is a nice person. Accommodating and professional. Tattoo however doesn't look that great. I followed all instructions, etc etc. Not my first or last tat. Will be having to have a local yocal fix it. I would still probably go and utilize this place again. Definitely followed all safety measures and then some regarding covid. Reasonably priced.

On a whim my wife and I stopped in to Skin Factory on a wander around Front street before dinner, I'm very happy we did. Eddie runs one of the nicest, cleanest shops I've ever been in. It's got a great vibe and it's run by an extremely talented artist. Eddie greeted us right away upon entering by introducing himself and welcoming us to his shop. Since neither of us really expected to get a tattoo, we hadn't planned anything. After a quick question and answer session he had a great little design for my wife and he set about drawing a calf piece for me. We booked a time after dinner to come back to get my wife's tattoo and to see my sketch. He knocked both out of the park! He was all set up and ready for the small tattoo for my wife so she got her ink that evening and I got an appointment for first thing the next day. I got to the shop a few minutes before opening the and he was all ready for me. After a quick introduction to his awesome wife, he got to work. It was like hanging out with old friends, these are two of the nicest, warmest, kindest people you'll meet in your travels. My tattoo turned out amazing, the detail is incredible. A picture would be the only way to truly show the talent. Check Eddie out, see his work online, on Instagram,(he's be doing this for 20 years, there's great art to see). There are many shops to choose from on Maui but, I believe, you won't get better ink, by a nicer guy anywhere. I know I'll be getting more work by this incredibly talented artist.

On our trip to Maui, last few days of our vacation. My husband and I have been wanting to get matching tattoos for a few years now. We are just blessed to have run into this place. This place is so clean, very inviting and Jeanette was wonderful, patient, and gives attention to details. Looked at some other tattoo shops in the area, but walking into Skin Factory, Eddie immediately introduced himself. He has got a great personality and made me feel welcome in his shop. If your looking to get a tattoo, and are in Maui, then this is the place for you. I highly recommend stopping in and seeing Eddie for your next piece. Eddie will definitely be seeing me again when I come back from the main land.

I was a walk in first thing in the morning 2/11 and Eddie did a quick and fantastic pineapple on my neck! He has very steady hands. The shop is beautiful, and clean. The other staff member was kind as well. If you have time, and want a good tattoo by some talented folks, this is a great place! Thank you, Eddie and Skin factory!
