Sweet Trade Tattoo

Everything about this place was incredible! I booked an appt in December, for March. Once we arrived on the island, we stopped in to get a consultation. The owner and his daughter are just the nicest people, the energy in the shop was great! At the end of our trip, we went for the tattoo; the owner had drawn out perfectly what we envisioned. The two of them got to work and were done in about 30 min! Wayyy quicker than I had expected. We laughed and held conversation the whole time. The tattoos look amazing, their attitudes were amazing, the shop was so clean, and Covid protocols followed. Thank you for the great experience!

Adam and his associate amazing. My wife and I have both received two awesome tattoos each. 2 of our adult grand children have received 1. All of our own designs they have modified them and sized them to our liking and placement and have expertly placed them on our bodies, with great attention to detail and always concerned about our comfort.
We have several more adult grandchildren and their spouses who will soon be getting tattoos with grandma and grandpa.

Place was filled with good vibes the moment I stepped in the door! Being from Lubbock, Texas I was definitely be back and get more ink. Adam did my work and shared great stores. Highly recommend this place if you're ever down in the area!

Adam was awesome! My spouse and I walked in last minute wanting matching tattoos to celebrate getting married in Maui last week and he was so accommodating. He was able to squeeze us in and we absolutely love our tattoos. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Maui!

Fantastic experience from start to finish! This was my second tattoo, and I had some anxiety about getting it while on vacation. Adam was professional and quick and I felt relaxed and at ease the whole time. The cost was very reasonable. I love my bird of paradise, and looking forward to returning on my next trip to Maui. If you are someone visiting Maui and looking for a tattoo to commemorate your visit or just a tattoo in general, I HIGHLY recommend you come to Sweet Trade. Adam and Siobhan are an incredible father-daughter duo, both having their respective talents in the worlds of painting and tattooing.

The vibes in the shop are immaculate, everything is clean and conversations are light and fun. You’re treated with respect and both artists work with you to find something that you’ll love for the rest of your life. Our group had a couple tattoo-virgins and both artists took the time to explain the process of tattooing, aftercare instructions, what they’ll experience beforehand and during, and to validate any fears the tattoo-ees may have. During our allotted times, a few walk-ins arrived and instead of turning them away, the artists made sure they would be seen at some point before they leave. Deposits and pricing is reasonable, I wouldn’t be upset if they charged more- their work is worth it and is done in a timely manner.

Adam and Siobhan obviously care about and love their clients and what they do, I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Met Adam by faith was given directions to a local food spot our luck it was closed and decided to go next door to Adam’s shop. Was greeted and welcomed. We talked for a lil bit told me about himself , as a tattoo connoisseur we gave each other suggestions and ideas he then told me to go think about it over night and do some research and book an appointment. Wasn’t pushy wish I liked he knows his work knowledge on what he’s putting on you and gets spiritually deep. Hand drew my piece and off he went to work . He didn’t just google an image off google and slapped it on . The piece he made for me has so much meaning definitely my best tattoo I’ve ever gotten so far thank you so much for this new step into a new chapter in life . Forever a returning customer.MAHALO🤙🏾

My adult son decided to get a tattoo while we were on vacation. He had an idea of what he wanted, but needed some help bringing his vision to life. Adam, the owner, was easy to work with and collaborative; he made my son feel comfortable during the process. He was easy to talk to and provided an entertaining distraction during the tattooing process. His prices were reasonable, Adam was willing to work within our budget, and the tattoo turned out beautifully.

In our research of tattoo shops, we learned that Sweet Trade is one of the only independently/locally owned shops in Maui; the rest are corporately operated. My son is already planning his next trip to Maui to have Adam give him another tattoo. Shop local, Mahalo Adam! 🌺

From the minute I walked through the door I was met with nothing but positive energy and excitement from Adam, the shop's owner. He worked with me to put my ideas to paper and was able to schedule an appointment for me in a timely manner.

I was lucky enough to have Siobhan create and ink my tattoo. She did a fantastic job capturing the likeness of my reference photos and adding an American traditional flare to the piece. The session lasted about 3 1/2 hours and the entire time I was comfortable and well taken care of.

This is a family operated custom tattoo shop with nothing but good, professional, vibes. Next time I'm back on Maui I'll be sure to stop by again!

So glad we did our research and found a great tattoo shop and artist. Sweet Trade Tattoo is definitely top notch. From the shop being super clean/sanitized, the environment super inviting, and the tattoo artist/owner Adam super funny and communicative… we had the best experience. We knew the Monogram tattoo we wanted so it was pretty straight forward. Overall, we would highly recommend this place!! :)
