Blue Wave Tattoo Kauai

Got an amazing flower piece by Jon for my first tattoo, healed so well and I’m absolutely in love with it. The guys were both insanely friendly and kept the 2 hour process entertaining while also providing amazing work, go here for a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Clean shop, super professional while also being hilarious.

Jon is an incredible guy with an amazing story, I got my first tattoo with him and he eased me into the process and really made me feel at home, and I am super in love with my tattoo, I recommend Jon to anyone wanting to get a tattoo!

Me and three friends decided to all get tattoos about 4 hours before we flew out of Kauai. We did not plan well and called John, not really giving him any heads up. He was super receptive to our request and told us to come in. When we got there, he drew up the tattoos and got all four of them done in plenty time for us to catch our flight. His shop is clean and John is the man - talented artist and super friendly, he'll make you feel at home. Highly recommended.

My friends and I were heading home back to Oahu and stopped by for a quick tat and piercing. The pricing is very reasonable. Brian was friendly, easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable as soon as we walked in. My friends tat came out even more beautiful than expected; strong and feminine with a touch of local style. Throughout our time there I also noticed how very organized and thorough Brian was in keeping the area clean, despite our stringent time constraint; he worked calmly and quickly to get the job done and get us on our way. My piercing is beautiful; even on this care bear belly. Thank you so much Brian for topping off our awesome vacay!

I highly recommend Jon's work! He went above and beyond to make sure the drawings of our tattoos were perfect before we got them. He is fun to work with and his prices were reasonable. Thank you again! I also posted the photos, mine is tribal with a hibiscus flower and his is a koi fish.

My boyfriend and I came to Jon wanting simple line work and other shops insisted on keeping with their $100 minimum. Jon did both tattoos for his usual minimum. He has such a positive attitude, he's super professional and his shop has a really nice vibe. If you're looking for a tattoo in Kauai, definitely check out Blue Wave Tattoo.

Jon took both of our calls the day of. Me and my wife had two pieces done. Two on Tuesday 5-8-18 and two on 5-11-18. Jon helped us out with choices and performed the work that you would expect from a tattoo artist. The tattoo shop is clean and the environement is very well absorbed. He makes you feel comfortable. I could not be happier. I came in with a vague idea and Jon nailed it. Plus, he worked on me even before my appointment, which freed up the rest of my last day on Kauai. His work is beautiful and he kept me laughing the whole time. He also accommodated my random anxiety, making the vibe as awesome as the rest of my trip. Videos of Kauai on the TV was exactly the calming vibe that helped me make it through while also being a warm reminder of my trip to paradise.

Jon was very accommodating after having to change my appointment a few times due to our last day on the island being so hectic. He's super cool, down to earth, and has very reasonable prices. I texted him what I wanted, and we both agreed on his freehand design with some extra touches. Will definitely come back to his shop during the next visit!

Brian did an awesome job with turning my idea for my vacation tattoo into a reality. He was patient and polite as well as did a great job with the artwork and tattoo. I have been tattooed by many different artist in many different locations and really enjoyed the experience at blue wave tattoo.
