My husband and I both got tattooed by Zach while on vacation. He was super friendly and made both of our ideas come to life. Especially my husbands tattoo. We went in a couple of days before our appointment to finalized our ideas when we got there for our appointment he had the drawings ready and was willing to make any tweaks we asked for last minute.
We were discussing our next tattoos when we can get back to the island. Zach was talking to us as well as some of the other people in the shop- which helped the time spent there go by faster. The Shop was clean and I loved looking at all the artwork while waiting while my husband got tattooed.
The staff was friendly and so were the customers. They did accept a couple of walk-ins while we were there since there was an artist that had time. We can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been tattooed twice by Zak at Paia Tattoo! I told him what I’d like and he worked it up beyond what I expected. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. Back in California I get asked where I got my ink done all the time! It was a very awesome experience both times. I’ll definitely be back -I’m hooked!

Loooooved my experience at Pā'ia Tattoo. Had a full back piece done by James split into three sessions, and it turned out amazing! His lines are super clean and he is just an all around good human being. I've gotten tattoos in many places around the world, and I feel like Maui is blessed to have this studio nestled right on the north shore.

The atmosphere is very chill, and the employees are all super nice! Kala was the one who helped all of us (a group of eleven people), all getting small tattoos. He was patient and so kind, and made the experience as easy and pleasant as possible.
It was my very first tattoo and it was awesome! If you want a great tattoo at the end of your trip to Hawaii that is cost efficient without being low quality, definitely come here!

Dude Zack Royalty is the man. As soon as I walked in and told him I was red an original sailor jerry, he made me feel comfortable and assured me it was his style, he was friendly and talked to me through the whole tattoo. Made me laugh, told jokes, I got to hear a little about his passion for art and he really made me feel like my tattoo mattered. It turned out perfect, it was a great Mother’s day tribute, she loved it Zack!
