I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from Jonny and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! The atmosphere is super nice and all of the artists are professional and they make sure you have a great experience. I highly recommend recommend coming here.

I got my piercings here. Very professional. Very sanitary. Extremely talented people. My piercings came out straight, even, and were completely symmetrical. My biggest fear prior to this, was to have crooked piercings. Austin did mine and he was amazing and gave me all of the information i needed to keep my piercings clean and explained the healing process extensively to ensure they do not get infected and that they heal correctly. I am so happy with mine and highly recommend this place to everyone. Austin is my go to piercing artist now.

It should be noted that I used to love the heck out of this place! I’ve gotten multiple tattoos done here. So nice to walk in, have a relatively short wait time, and get a tattoo done so fast. Yet, even in the middle of a pandemic, no one was wearing masks and no one was wrapping their stations or any kind of disinfectant being used anywhere.

My most recent tattoo, a medium sized one on my inner arm, got extremely infected. And I can tell you the moment it happened. An artist was completing my tattoo, and he went a little too deep/hard on his line work, weirdly going back over a thick line he completed. And most likely it was because there’s this person there that just runs around, pushes themselves through the studio on chairs, eats away, and talks the ear off all the artists (who are working on clients…with needles!) He got talking with them and went down that line again. And I felt it. I know these are experienced artists, but I really didn’t like how talkative and distracted the whole place felt, like no one is really focused on you. I ended up in urgent care, downing antibiotics to stop the infection.

Just watch this place! It’s very open, everyone’s super chill, but maybe that’s an issue for concern. Overly chill. Clean the place, wrap your stations, don’t eat in the clients face, and wash your f*cking hands after you go take a 30 minute long smoke break. I won’t be back anytime soon, other studios are more professional, clean, and don’t give you a staph infection.

I got an amazing tattoo by Vinnie. He was so sweet and patient. He checked up on me to see how the tattoo was healing. His line work was absolutely perfect and the shading was spot on. So glad I came here for my first professional tattoo. Uber pleased!!!😁

I can’t recommend Jonny at Boise Tattoo Company enough!! He is incredibly talented, so friendly, and easy going! The atmosphere is so welcoming and fun!! We have worked with him on several occasions and it’s been perfect and easy every time! He has helped our visions come to life with creating amazing original pieces that we are so proud of!! We can never go anywhere else!! Working with Jonny you will leave with a badass tattoo and a friend! You will not be disappointed!!!

Took my daughter in for a nose piercing and a ear piercing. Jordan did a great job taking his time to mark location for piercing, my daughter loved exactly where he had everything. Everything came out perfect and most of all my daughter is very happy. Don't let the outside of the shop fool you when you walk inside it's a whole different place. Really nice shop and atmosphere!!

Cool new shop in a great part of town. Jonny actually did a small piece of mine some months back. I’m so glad I came back to him for this new piece I had in mind. His attention to detail and overall skill are reasons why I would recommend and refer any and everyone looking for some new work to his shop. The shop has a super eclectic, macabre/taxidermy style decor. As well as a very cleanly and inviting atmosphere. Super down to earth guys at Boise Tattoo Co. Not to mention, they have great taste in music to keep your spirits pumping while getting poked. Repeat customer for life. 10/10

Followed Jordan from his old shop to him starting his own, and we'll continue coming back to him for more work. Sitting with him is always a treat and you know you'll leave with quality, talented work.The shop is super clean and sanitary, and everyone who works at Boise Tattoo is rad 🤘

Jonny fit me in and covered up a small tattoo I had, and made it a beautiful 1/3 sleeve! He took the time to make sure it's exactly what I was hoping for. Everyone in the shop was super nice and it was a great experience. I highly recommend!

Amazing experience! My wife and I found Jonny Phillips on Instagram. We left our previous artists and were slightly hesitant to try someone new. We met Jonny, super friendly and very professional. We just got our tattoos done tonight, we are both speechless with the quality, price and amazing artwork. We could not be happier with our experience, from start to finish. Thank you so much Jonny!
