I absolutely love this shop! Mike Beard helped me with a cover up tattoo. He is such a talented artist with great vision and a light touch. He was able to not only cover an embarrassing old tattoo-but turn it into something better than I could EVER imagine. Truly a great shop. Totally clear why they won best in Boise and Meridian! Super clean, comfortable and welcoming. Thanks again!!!

If you're looking for a clean shop, clean lines and knowledgeable artists... THIS IS THE SPOT!!! Mike and everyone down at Burn The Boats are doing it right. The shop is decked with tons of cool memorabilia and artwork. Makes for a fun atmosphere.

Jessica was awesome! She made getting my first tattoo in over 25 years a fun and memorable experience. Both tattoos I got + a touch up more than exceeded my expectations! The environment was very welcoming!
The artist are all super nice, chill, and very down to earth.
It is definitely a place you can feel accepted and be yourself as well.
And the coolest part, it’s a straight up time machine in a tattoo shop. I was there for about seven hours and it felt like 1, I enjoyed myself so much.
I am definitely going back for more ink.

My tattoo experience at Burn The Boat Tattoo was the best I have ever had. I have several large tats over the year but sitting in their shop and getting this piece done was an awesome experience. I sat in that chair for 5 hours. We had the best conversation while looking at the decor and talking about everything under the sun. The tools and equipment are impeccable clean. These guys followed a very disciplined hygiene protocol and the entire place was clean. The art work was 100% solid and Mike insisted on the best after care products I’ve ever used. My Tat healed in 5 days with no scabbing and very little peeling, 10 days post tat I’m completely healed with no touch up needed. I will be back!

Burn the Boats is a great atmosphere to be in. Mike was the artist I chose for my first tattoo, and I can guarantee it won’t be the last I get from there/him. He walked me through the process from start to finish. I really appreciated him taking the time to help me decide what I truly wanted and for making my vision come to life.
