From the first day I messaged to the final stroke of ink on my piece, Kevin was overall, great to work with. He was excited about the piece from day one and channeled that into each step of the process. He listened to my concerns and was not against suggesting numbing solutions for the areas of my leg I expected to hurt more than I thought I could handle. His dedication on getting color to pop on dark skin is something almost impossible to find in the industry and I was so happy to see how carefully he thought about tint, tone and placement to give me something that will last.
And he works fast! I got a large calf piece that I expected to push 6 hours and he was done in just about 4!
The shop is also great. The team here chat easily and get along well which inspires a comfortable atmosphere. The shop is clean and there are black out curtains hanging around each station for privacy if needed.
What a great neighborhood spot. I'm glad I checked it out and I'd be happy to come back again.

Had one of the best and chill tattoo sessions with the owner of Mind Crusher Tattoo (Kevin). Sometimes we forget these artist are humans and need some creative freedom at times. I let him do his thing and he did not disappoint. Would definitely come back for some gore tattoos!

Since it won't let me do a new review, I went back to Nicole today to get my eyebrow pierced and another tattoo! She does such amazing work. I will be going to her for all of my tattoos and piercings! NEON NIPPLES FOREVER!!!!

Best shop in all of Chicago! Everyone is so welcoming, helpful, and nice. Got 4 tattoos done here and each one came out beautifully, I get compliments on them all the time. Definitely worth stopping by and getting something done by them if ur in the area.

I have gotten all of my tattoos from this place. All the artists are fantastic and amazing at what they do, and the actual tattoos are very affordable compared to what other shops charge. Scheduling an appointment is very easy and the atmosphere of the shop is very welcoming. If you are looking for anime-esque style tattoos btw, I highly recommend going to Davi. Cheers, and I will definitely be getting more in the future! (Tattoo pictured is about after a month of healing!)
