Last week I had some work done by Carlos, and it couldn't have been a better experience. Besides being incredibly talented, Carlos went above and beyond to listen to what I wanted and delivered. This is the first shop where I have not felt the typical "uncool" feeling due to artists who really don't care about the individual. Carlos treated me like a valued customer, and for that he has earned one. Definitely check them out!

I came here to get more work done on a tattoo that I'd gotten in Vegas with some girlfriends. While the tattoo wasn't terrible, it just looked "unfinished." Rich saw my tattoo (and gracefully hid his shudder lol) and addressed the issues in a thoughtful way. He gave me a series of innovative solutions that would uplift the piece, and executed it. He was creative, decisive, and immensely professional. My tattoo now looks exactly as I had initially imagined it because if him. I plan on traveling back to Chicago from Denver (as soon as it's safe) to get my next piece from him. He a superb artist and it was a privilege to get work done at this establishment.

Wild Wind is my favorite place to get tattooed by far. The shop is very professional and the fact that they have other things going on in the shop like Art Installations take the shop to another level. Every time I've come to Rich with an idea for a tattoo he has taken it beyond what I could have ever imagined. You can't go wrong getting tattooed at Wild Wind Tattoo. I really dig all the work I've had done at Wild Wind Tattoo. Rich is an amazing artist and really conceptual and collaborative in terms of being able to take a rough idea and turn it into an incredible tattoo. Cool shop. Nice guys. Bonus points for being walking distance to a couple good spots to get a drink or bite to eat after you get tattooed.

Rich who’s the owner of the place is one of the nicest and coolest dudes I’ve ever met. I’ve been getting tattooed by him for 10years now. I’ve followed him around shop to shop until he opened his own. The shop doesn’t have the intimidating vibe some other “top tattoo shops” have, it’s a very welcoming and inclusive place and the music selection is always on point. The staff is great and very good people, I can’t stress enough how cool this place is.

Great experience. It had been 10+ years since my last of 9 tattoos and I'd been debating for some time when to finally get a new piece. I live nearby in humbolt and was driving by one day when I noticed their shop had opened. I waited months before I finally had made my mind up to get it done. I went in right when they opened on a Saturday and was greeted warmly. I asked for Chris who happened to be the man who welcomed me. I gave him my details and showed him what I wanted and in a matter of moments I was having the transfer applied. He knew it had been awhile for me and took great care and asked me throughout if I needed a break. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience or my newest and probably not my last tattoo from Wildwind.
