Could not be happier with my first tat! My sister and I explained what we wanted and Andrew sketched up such a simple, sweet, quality design. It’s healed up quickly and properly and now I just want more. Great location, high quality everything, super clean, good conversation 10/10. These artists are top notch. Would recommend.

Dope music playing in the background, great atmosphere and overall a great little shop. I can personally vouch for Carlos, but am certain that if his work is anything to go by, everyone there is extremely capable and a pleasure to work with.

Rich Marafioti is the only person I let tattoo me. He's an amazing and talented artist.
The facility is clean, creative and tasteful. It doesn't feel like your typical tattoo shop which is refreshing. Most artists have attitude and can make you feel intimated, not Rich. He's professional, down to earth, and always executes an amazing sketch of each tattoo I have had done. His attention to detail and genuine personality is why he is one of the best tattoo artists in the city of Chicago.

I had a great experience at Wild Wind Tattoo. My artist was Carlos who was great to work with on my ideas. When walking in for my 4 hour session, they made me feel at home right away. I recommend Carlos and Rich to anyone that's looking to get work done. I assure you that you will be back for more ink.

I picked Wild Wind Tattoo for my first tattoo experience, and got two palm-sized traditional Chinese character tats from Rich at the beginning of August. The have healed very nicely with no issues, and I have gotten compliments on the line work from friends with several tats, and also compliments on the quality of the character rendering from my Chinese friends.
In addition to the quality of the tats themselves, Rich was very professional and competent. His responses to my pre-appointment emails were prompt, clear, and organized. His manner and knowledge of potential bodily reactions during the process indicated both a high-level of focus on the customer as well as reflecting a great deal of personal experience.
Lastly, I'll note that I first became aware of Wild Wind when they hosted a fundraising benefit for a a local charity that I volunteer with. So, Rich/Wild Wind are a positive for the community as well as providers of quality tattoo services.
