Area 51 Tattoo

Khalid completed a custom chest piece he helped design and touched up a 15 year old half sleeve in the last 9 months. While good tattooing does not come cheap, he provided an honest experience and the quality of his craftsmanship speaks for itself. He is about as ethical as you will find of a shop owner and meticulously clean. His shop is ran how most shops strive to perform where the quality of work comes before quantity. I am happy to say, I am thrilled with your work and ability to tackle various projects. He is multifaceted and can complete a wide range of projects, which is awesome. Khalid is also hilarious and loves his job so the pain is eased! Thanks brother!

Absolutely an amazing experience. Khalid is an amazing artist and he is very personable. I am 57 and I never had any desire to get a tattoo. Last fall one of our Golden Retrievers died suddenly. We found out later she had consumed deadly nightshade. She had just turned 2, 3 days earlier. I decided I wanted to put her on my arm and keep her with me forever. I told Khalid my story and he understood what I was looking for and you could tell he cared. He made me feel at ease and I felt like I was chatting with an old friend I had not seen in a long time. He with it a doubt nailed what I was looking for. Thank you Khalid. No doubt I will be back for another one.

Madison was so kind and professional, and took her time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. She explained everything at every step of the way, and had a soft touch doing the tattoo. Absolutely love!!! Desirea was my artist and I cannot say enough great things! Her work is amazing. Additionally, it was my first tattoo so she was very through with explaining the process and making sure I understood what was happening throughout the process. She also made sure I understood the aftercare process and was very adamant that I contact her or the team with any questions/concerns I had with my healing tattoo. I can't wait to get my next tattoo here!

was suggested this place by a co-worker. It was my first tattoo, and wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. I worked via email with Desirea, and after a few back and forth, was able to schedule my appointment. Their location was very clean, and I felt comfortable the entire time. She walked me thru all the steps, what to expect, and how to handle things once I left. While most people crave additional tattoos, I probably won't. But I will highly suggest Area 51 and Desirea's artistic skills! So happy with the entire process and the end result!

I got my first tattoo at 50 years old. Just got a second one last week. Khalid did both of mine he is awesome! Everyone there is very nice as well. Very good with sanitation practices.I highly recommend this place whether it's your first tattoo or your 100 th !!!

Khalid is the GOAT. He did an amazing job on my tattoo cover up. You can tell the years of experience he had while working on my tattoo. I highly recommend Khalid and Desi! They genuinely care about their customers and the shop is a clean and fun place to relax while they poke needles on you!

This is a great shop. It's clean, friendly, inviting, and the tattoos are the absolute best. To put it another way, in Aug. 2019 I got my first tattoo, and just over a year later, I got my third. If Khalid was not so busy due to his great work, who knows how many I'd have. I look forward to each appointment like a kid on Christmas morning. They have added even more safety/health procedures and in terms of the pandemic, I feel totally safe going here. Area 51 is our family tattoo destination for good reason. We highly recommend it.

I’ve hopped around a few shops over the years and never really found a great artist and an environment that I felt comfortable in. Fed up, I did a lot of research and gave Area 51 a shot after reading amazing reviews. I am so glad I did! Ive now had three tattoos done at Area 51 (2 by Khalid and 1 by desirea). They are AMAZING. They are both very down to earth and easy to work with, create phenomenal tattoos, offer reasonable prices, and a super clean and organized shop. I will never go anywhere else. Khalid is so patient, he will adjust the design or placement a hundred times if he has to until it’s just what you want.

Just a heads up, you may have to book your appt a few months out because they are so busy, but it SO worth the wait.
