Awesome artists. Very professional. I love all my ink and my husband's. Will never go anywhere else and recommend this place to anyone who is serious about tattoos. So far had ink by Phil and Katie today!!! Wow!

I had Katie and she was awesome. I wanted a finger tattoo and she drew my idea up right away. My tattoo still looks brand new a week later. Top pic is day of tattoo and the second is a week later.

As others have said , Beth is very rude. Bad attitude. Others are nice. Ive had two tattoos done here and they look okay, however I’m extremely disappointed that they refuse to do face tattoos. My plan was for this to be my shop that I always came to. My boyfriend wants our daughters name on his face, that’s his choice. Ik face tattoos are debatable but that’s HIS choice. I asked why not they said “ we want you guys to have jobs” he has his own company so that’s not even a problem. He could get a penis tattooed on his forehead and he’d still have a job. But they still so no. I get where their coming from but it’s not their body. Now I need to find a whole new shop to our regular shop and definitely am not looking forward to it.

Not only did they give me a very fair price, but everyone at the shop was great. Excellent service. Couldn't have asked for a more accommodating environment. The artists make you feel welcome and comfortable, and can keep up an excellent conversation to pass the time. I'll definitely be going back here for my next piece.

I wish I could give more stars. I was staying in the area for businesses and decided to get a tattoo. I wish I had places like this in Michigan! All of the staff are great, all have great personalities and make you feel right at home. I will drive back for my next tattoo!

From the minute we walked in Beth was extremely rude. We actually contemplated leaving right then. Instead, we gave her a chance. She continued to be extremely short, snappy, and rude throughout the entire process. She snapped at me for trying to take a few pictures of my sister in law while she was getting her tattoo. I was so shocked to learn that this was her shop! At the end, I told her very nicely and simply that we would not be recommending this shop to anyone else and that her bad attitude took away from the fun experience of getting a tattoo. She yelled that she didn't need to be berated which seemed over the top considering how simply and honestly I approached the situation and then told us to get the f*** out. Unbelievably rude. Wow. She has a bad attitude and it's not worth ruining this fun experience by going here. I DO NOT recommend her business, she doesn't value her customers at all.

We do not allow friends or family to enter the work area in order to take pictures. We asked that you remain on the other side of the counter and keep the photos to a minimum so not to distract us while we work. Your sister in law got a great tattoo at a reasonable price and seemed pleased with the tattoo. It was YOU who felt slighted for not being able to take pictures behind the counter. The worst part of the whole thing that it was a small tattoo that took no more than 15 minutes to do, the bandage was on, your sister in law was happy with it and YOU decided to turn it into a fiasco not only for us but the other clients that were getting tattooed. Regardless of how special the moment or tattoo, big or small, we cannot and will not bend the rules. You were anything but "nice" about letting us know about how much "fun" YOU didn't have, you refused to let it go and made a scene in the middle of the shop. We had to ask you to leave SEVERAL times before it escalated to harsh language. At one point we thought we may have to call the police to have you forcibly removed.
We have on Yelp, close to 50 5 star reviews (42 filtered) from happy customers. We have a huge clientele of return customers who know how to behave in public and act like adults. We welcome them back anytime. We are not sorry to have lost your business. Temper tantrums are not allowed or tolerated at Maximum Tattoo.

I understand the policy, and I was okay with that. I understand. I was upset and shocked at how rude she was throughout the entire process. My sister in law was also very shocked and upset. I'm not going to get into a debate about it - the universe knows. I understand you wanting to protect your reputation, but you've embellished your story - the universe knows that too, even if others don't. Beth is the red head in the picture for those of you looking to avoid her or this shop in general. This woman does not deserve your business, nor is she thankful for it. For a small business, gratitude and kindness to your customers is what helps you grow.

I went to get my first tattoo and when I was explaining to Beth what I wanted she told me I was micro managing my tattoo!!!!

She said she ll have a design ready for me in a week and it has been a month. Every time I call which I did 3 times she tells me she ll have it by the end of this week. STAY AWAY FROM HER. I ended up getting my tattoo somewhere else and I have not heard back from her yet.

FINALLY I got my 1st tattoo, nothing like waiting till 50ish...thank god I did. I LOVE IT !!!!Phil did an amazing job, a beautiful tribute to my mother. No pain at all. Tears of JOY surly flowed however. Cannot wait for another. Huge thanks to my daughters for being there for me ♡♡♡

I've been a loyal customer for years now... I won't use any body other than Katie.
But the studio has all great artists.
