This was by far my most mazing experience, I absolutely love this man he did an amazing job on my Nips they are even , healing very well , and didn't hurt but a pinch. HIGLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Very friendly place but 6 weeks in and my tat looks bad. My Best Friend and I got matching simple tats and they both look terrible after 6 weeks. The ink is missing in several spots and the lines skip. We have to get them redone.

I got 3 tattoos done here I highly recommended and they were the sweetest couple ever !!and they did an amazing job 😊 sounds like goals to me!!! thank you so much! (Also; I got a tattoo done at tuff luck and they are way more expensive and I don’t see a different in quality at all plus dark side has better customer service . I RECOMMEND this place.

I called when they opened and asked if they had any openings that day and they told me at 7 so I got there a little early. They told me they were a little behind so I expected maybe a 30-45 minute wait. Well I actually waited around an hour and 45 minutes. But other than the wait, I'm very happy with my experience there. The tattoo I got came out EXACTLY like I wanted. They were friendly and the shop was clean for it being the end of the day. I would recommend them as long as you expect to wait a little bit to get your tattoo.

Trashy, Rude, and Unclean. The woman up front was so rude. The place was disgustingly dirty. It really is a miracle that they stay open. He has no artistic skill, whatsoever. I had three tattoo ideas, and they refused to do any of them. One was a name around my ring finger, another was an infinity symbol on my wrist (he can't draw that and make it look right?), and a simple statement on my wrist. When she said he could do any tattoos on the wall, and I informed her I didn't want a flash design, she yelled at me as I was walking out the door "Good Luck getting anyone to tattoo you!" I told her I would have no problem, and I didn't. Karma Tattoos did a wonderful job, were friendly, are actually clean, and are also reasonably priced. Thank god I did not let Darkside tattoo me.

Worst tattoo of my life was given to me there. I made the massive mistake of getting two right on my wrist. My girlfriend got one too and hers was just as bad. I got my tattoo from them a year or so ago and it looks hideous. The lines are uneven and the ink has fallen out of most spots. Where the ink didn’t fall out, my skin is raised and scared from the owner going too deep. This place is a joke. Go anywhere else in southern Illinois for a better experience. Save your time and money. They don’t know how to tattoo.
