I had a 30 year tattoo on my chest that I wanted to cover up. Had a consultation. Went through ideas and what was best for me. I love my new tattoo. It's perfect!. Loved the whole experience.

I have gone to Jimmy for 5 of my 6 tattoos and all I can say is WOW. This man is amazing. He takes his time and gives you his professional opinion on how things will look and turn out. I recieve compliments daily on my tattoos and I always immediately tell people they need to go see this man! I can't wait until I can come in and get another piece of artwork. Paid a $60 deposit there to have more detail on some wings on forearms. Had to cancel (2 months prior) wasn't feeling well. Went in and spoke to a guy with a gray beard. It had been awhile since I gave them a deposit so he asked what I was there for. Said I had a appointment and went over the details AGAIN. He told me his fee and went and sat in the chair. He did a absolutely horrible job!!!! There is absolutely NO FIXING THEM. I THOUGHT I was dealing with the other gray bearded guy in there. I only spoke to him once for 20 minutes when I gave them the deposit. Months later this happens.
So fast forward to now. I went in to get a tattoo done by the original guy I had appointment with. I was told at their booth at Riley Days they would honor the $60 deposit. He wanted another $40 deposit saying the $60 deposit was gone. I know it didn't go to the guy that worked on my tattoos. Told him I wasn't paying another $40 so just keep the $60 I already paid. I was informed they had video to prove what actually happened.
I am anxiously waiting to see this "video" so post it in response to this review.
Bottom line.......Go elsewhere!!!!!

You were NEVER involved in any of the conversations at the shop. Not sure how you would know anything but what you were told!

Went in to start a piece a few weeks ago with Amy, felt a little milked in time paying by the hour, I have hours of work already so I know the just of how much should be done and quality. Scheduled to come back and was supposed to be finished in two hours, I am again scheduled to come back again but will definitely pass this time, although still knocked a few off hourly rate was debating on getting finished by another shop. My mistake went back to get it finished and I was not booked! There should have been my sign I still come back because she started it she needs to finish right well big mistake I now have what's supposed to be the remaining of my lions hair on the back of my arm looking like some who knows what a nike symbol maybe cause it doesn't look like hair. See in pictures. Maybe she just isn't black and grey specialty which is cool just let the customer know ahead of time maybe? That would have been nice instead of just trying what she could and taking my money, the shop is not very professional not consistant. I will say it is clean but will keep in mind that it is VERY newly opened! I could also tell that the artist doing my work was on things imparing her judgement while tattooing as well, not very respectful. Too each there own opinion I was not happy with my experience. Got a pretty good idea as to why she has traveled from shop, to shop, to shop.

I got my first tattoo from Amy. She was very nice and professional. She made me feel very at ease. She made sure the design and its size was exactly what I wanted. The end result was A+. If I ever get another one I will see her again for sure!
