I started with Gordo because my regular tattoo artist was booked- I never went back. Gordo has done multiple of my tattoos and I even recommend all of my friends and family to him! I love every piece he’s done on me and them. He is super flexible and willing to work to fit me in on my last minute tattoo ideas, and touch ups. His shop is always clean, and comfortable. He is very professional with his work, and makes sure YOU are getting what YOU want. His price is very fair for the amazing quality of work he does. I love Ortiz Gordo Tattoos, and I’m positive you all will too!

I was not a walk in I called you said to come in. You never said nothing about an appointment you had coming in till half way your girl said something. I will never go back to this place. I called asking for someone that was good with flowers and color. So I was told to come in and I did, not only where we stopped for an appointment he had but we stopped early and the whole time he was tattooing me he was constantly looking at his plane.
I was told to call back on a Thursday after the original appointment but to call around one. So I did and got told he had no openings nor did he have any at all when I called and asked about other days, NONE.
Not to mention the one flower of the two he did but the purple one isn’t totally colored in after healing. I’ve never had this issue anywhere else, bad decision on my part. I wouldn’t recommend the owner to do any tat!!!

I have never been to Ortiz personally but recently found out Big Kenny Sims has switched to this shop and I want to warn as many people as I can not to go to him. I went to him for a tattoo of my cat and he completely butchered it. There's not one good part of the whole tattoo and when I brought it up to him he said it was because it was not finished. The only thing not finished were the flowers on it. I've spoken to several other artists and been advised to get removal started because of how dark it is that it can't even be covered up without another artists work looking like garbage over it. Please if you do not want garbage inked on you forever avoid him at all costs.

Walk-in not expecting to get an appointment and ended up with my favorite tattoo yet (black/gray piece for arm) Reymundo is awesome to work with, atmosphere is friendly, clean & good vibes plus great prices..will definitely be back glad to have found this gem of an artist ✒

I was originally getting a different tattoo then My cousin passed and since I put my deposit I asked gordo if we could change it and fit me plus my three brothers and sisters. He was able to let us . It was also one of my brothers first tats. I’ve had prior tats done by gordo and satisfied with all. He’s down to earth and good at what he does.

He’s better then a “ at home tattoo artist” . But no where near a professional, ive seen some way bad ink slang from dude, heard he doesn’t insure his work , doesnt follow what he puts on you with pen first , just makes up stuff as he goes. BUT if you want a cheap tattoo he’s your guy, just remember YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
