Absolutely love this place! Have had several tats done here, by past and present, employees. Love the work of all. And have always been treated well. From scheduling appointments, to being treated well and feeling relaxed and having a good time while in getting work done. My last 3 tats have been done by Kelly, and never been disappointed. In his work, or in my experience while being in the shop. Highly recommend River City Tattoo!!

I went to get my tongue pierced here in December they are really nice people and they are good at explaining how to take care of the piercing and they made me feel comfortable I will definitely be going to them again

I walked into River City Tattoo Company having never been there. There was no hesitation to recognize that I had just walked in, and someone at the counter immediately asked how they could help me. I was quickly introduced to a tattoo artist named Jake who was polite and I could unmistakably tell he knew what he was doing. He did an excellent job from beginning to end and I am 100% satisfied with the work and price. This is a quality tattoo establishment, and I would absolutely recommend it anyone.

Went in to buy some plugs for my ears, there was a line to the counter which didn't bother me at first because I was willing to wait. The person infront of me had to fill out paperwork for a piercing while she was filling out the paperwork they had plenty of time to get the jewelry out of the case for me to look at, by this time I had been there 25 minutes.
Two customers came in behind me, one wanting to schedule a consult and one wanting to talk to someone about touch ups, instead of helping me the desk clerk and whoever was sitting with him decided to talk to this them instead of helping me, first come first served, what should have taken 5 minutes was now almost 45 minutes. Finally I just gave up and walked out.

Awful. Booked appointment weeks in advance only to show up on time for appointment to find locked doors. Co-owner finally answered and blamed other owner's son for screwing up the appointments, said that wasn't the way he ran his business, but wasn't willing to stay and do the simple tattoos himself. Completely disappointing.

My experience consists of driving 1 and 1/2 hours, being treated rudely and the person at the front desk gave me zero information. I get there and he tells me I need my daughter's birth certificate, so I drive all the way to charles city to get and I come back and he tells me she needs an I.D. I was seriously ill informed as to what I needed. So on my daughter's birthday she could not get her birthday gift. I will never step foot in there again, nor will I be quiet about my experience!! Thank goodness I have my own true and tried tattoo artist! This place is a joke!!!
