So far I’ve had a lot of work done by Emma, who is absolutely so talented and amazing. Today I had work done by Erin and she was equally amazing and talented. I can’t recommend this shop enough. Each artist’s studio reflects their personality and art - and it’s so different than a typical tattoo studio in that you can tell each artist has cultivated their space to make their clients feel comfortable and safe. It’s an absolute pleasure and dream to be tattooed here. I, especially as a woman, feel so comfortable here. It’s oozing with talent as Carlos and Gypsy’s work is also incredible. A million and one stars guys!

Carlos and all his co-workers are amazing and incredibly friendly. The new studio looks fantastic and they are doing a great job at following all recent health guidelines. I have had multiple tattoos done from the studio and years later I’m getting compliments on my tattoos. You will not be disappointed!!! 100% recommend!

The level of professionalism and friendliness at Abraxas is top notch. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome. The facility is fitting as well. Due to the current COVID restrictions everyone is isolated in their own rooms, but each area definitely has its own character. When you are getting work done you really feel at home.
This is a group of people that truly enjoy working together and push each other to be better. Currently I have only had work done by Emma and giving her free reign and a basic idea of what you are looking for has been a great decision.

I got my first tattoo this past week at Abraxas and it was a great experience.
The shop: Abraxas is in a pretty cool location up above Mass. St. Makes for good people watching so you can focus on something other than the whole "Hey, I'm getting repeatedly poked with a needle." thing. The shop was also very clean so there are no worries there. All of the tattooing equipment was opened up in front of me so I knew I was getting sterile equipment.
The staff: Really awesome group of people. Super friendly, great hospitality, and knowledgeable. When I walked in I was immediately offered a drink and everyone was pretty entertaining during the whole process.
The artist: Carlos Ransom did my tattoo and all I can say is wow. That is one talented guy. I've already recommended some friends to the shop because of his work. I've gotta go back for a second session to finish up my tattoo but the first portion of it looks great. Can't wait to see all of the minor details once it is fully healed. I'm already scheming what future tattoos I want him to do.
Great clean shop, awesome people, and amazing talent. I can't recommend this place enough.

I cannot say enough good things about this shop and the people that run it. If you haven't seen the new location on Kentucky, you really need to. The shop feels welcoming and comfortable and looks exactly like what I would picture in Lawrence, KS. Carlos and his wife Andiy were both so lovely and welcoming. Carlos art is clearly incredible, but the added bonus of having a wonderful and welcoming shop is a huge bonus. I am so glad I found this shop!
