I made an appointment two weeks out for a tattoo. When I arrived 15 minutes early they discovered they had double booked. I was bumped with the understanding they would call me in a couple hours and get me in. Long story short I DID NOT get my tattoo. The artists did not seem too enthused about their craft. Or the fact I was upset.

Took my daughter in to get her daith pierced, and had a great experience. The artist/piercer went above and beyond his way to help my daughter with a different piercing. As far as the main reason we were there, that went surprisingly smooth and painless.

Rooster did my helix piercing and he was great both piercer and personality wise! I wish I lived in the area so he could have done all of mine!

Cannot day enough great things about Edgar! He was very patient with piercing my daughters ears. Let’s just say she was not as patient or cooperative. He was friendly and firm and turned this into a great experience. Would highly recommend. Thank you Edgar

I've only gotten one, very simple and small, tattoo at the shop in OP. My best friend and I went to get them together before she moved and Clayton was fast, friendly, and did a great job. I've gotten 2 larger pieces at the Lawrence location--recently went in to discuss a couple new pieces--and will definitely be going back! Their prices are decent, I never have to wait months to meet with the artists and they've all done really great work (ie: they fixed something that resembled a 14" rim actually look closer to the button it was supposed to be). Now to patiently await the phone call saying my sketch is ready!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to get my first tatto at Skin Illustrations and I have to say I couldn’t be more happy! My artist Johnny was extremely kind and made the whole experience a lot less scary. It turned out way better than I could’ve ever hoped and I will definitely be returning for more.

Edgar did my vertical lebret, and he did amazing. I would recommend everyone to go to him. He's quick, hes clean, and he conversation. He does his job extremely well! 10/10 would recommend.!
