Baldy's Tattoo & Piercing Parlor

Baldy did my tatoo about 5+ years ago ans suggested dark dark purple, I said bright purple. So I went with his advice.
Now I'm no expert, but going light to dark later is fine if I don't like it, so why you suggesting dark? Was my first tatoo idk better.
The color was fine enough but he did BLACK OUTLINES and did NOT tell me. ??? And some parts of my tatoo are too tiny to fit purple between outlines (example would be thin lines) so those are just black. That's my main gripe is lack of communication on something permanent.

My Mom and I got a dermal done from Baldy himself. We were there for probably 30-45 total! He’s super quick, professional and clean! It’s healed up really nicely. I’ll be back in a couple weeks to get my jewelry swapped out 🥰

Keith was great! Really happy how it turned out! Jimmy, worked with the Wife and sister in-law. Theirs turned out really nice also.

I've been tattooed by Sonny and Jimmy and they are both awesome and talented.

My hubby and I drive from NC to see Brado! Absolutely love his style and he has been doing great work on us both. I am still an open canvas but my husband has been having Brado redo his sleeves which were originally done by someone who wasn’t that good with freehand creativity. My husbands were just dull and faded and Brado is bringing life and color back into it. If you love traditional and colorful Brado is your guy. Make sure you book an appointment because he stays pretty busy! We book at least two days back to back every 6 months and drive 10 hours to come see him. I’ll have to post some picks that aren’t upside down

I got a tat here on my birthday! Well worth the trip for the quality work. They did a great job with the detail, settings expectations, and recommending cleaning/moisturizing things to get from the store to treat after removing the clear bandage. We will definitely be back to see Jimmy for my next round on ink therapy.

I went to this shop in October 2020 with a friend to get some piercings. Very nice, respectful and professional service. However, here it is February 2022 and I am just now able to change my jewelry out. This is not for lack of taking care of them. Only one of then 2 I have had an issue with the entire time. At first I thought well my body is just trying to reject the jewlery but I've seen rejections amongst friends and that is not the issue. After changing from the curved bar that was used during the piercing process to some straight bars I have found the one that has been staying irritated is way deeper than the other and it wasnt able to breath. I wish I would have noticed eariler and not just thought that the pain and irritation resulted in swelling. Now I will spend some time trying to find quality jewelry with a longer bar when it should be the same for both. I didn't have a bad experience at the shop but I expected a professional piercer to get piercings straight and even. After all isnt that in the job description.

Paid $400 dollars for a cover up. The tattoo was poorly done, the line work is barely visible and what you CAN see of the line work is crooked and very faded. Asked for neo traditional and got something that doesn’t even look remotely close. Colors are very faded and there is a lot of scarring. Had multiple conversations at first with the artist asking whenever he would be able to fix my tattoo and he had told me it was my fault and it was “improper tattoo aftercare” I have 30 tattoos and I know how to take proper care of them. After a month, artist had me come in and looked at it, said it wasn’t healed enough and told me that we would have to do it another day. ALSO my tattoo was done in August and it is now Dec. Tried reaching out one last time a few weeks ago, message was yet again left on read. Never ever EVER again. Super unprofessional and very upset.
