Where do I even begin? Allan is absolutely amazing at what he does so let’s just start there. Everytime I’ve left the shop with my piece done, I’ve loved it more than I ever thought I would. It’s amazing that you can tell it’s his work just from looking at it. He puts his all in every piece he’s ever done on me, big or small. Now, Allan as a person is even more amazing. To go somewhere and get a good tattoo is one thing but to form bonds with these people and slowly learn things about their life is even more valuable. The most recent half sleeve he did on me hurt so bad, but with the conversation he made, it took my mind off of the pain. I’ve learned all about how Allan started getting into tattoos, who taught him, the crazy stories about experiences he’s had, & so much more. I feel like recommending him still just isn’t enough!!!!

Got my knuckles tattooed by Allan a few years back. Absolutely love them! Amazing work and all free handed! I get lots of compliments on them. He was very gentle, welcoming, and made great conversation. Loved how clean and sanitary the whole shop was! Great all around quality work!

Clean, knowledgeable, friendly, laid back, fun and patient staff! Definitely recommend them! The artists were very professional yet awesome at being laid back and having fun with clients. Which I have major anixety and PTSD so this helped me feel calm, relaxed and able to ask every question I had and they answered it. They were also very good to my mother and daughter who came with me. So knowledgeable about tattoos and piercings including allergies related to them. You won't regret calling and making an appt!

Cutthroat is by far the cleanest and most professional tattoo shop I’ve ever been into. The prices are reasonable and the art work is exceptional. Although he books up fast sometimes, his artistry is definitely worth the wait. 90% of my tattoos were done by Allan himself!

I trusted this man with my body and the most important tattoo I have. He worked tirelessly on the drawing and then on the 4 trips to the shop over a year. He took his time to make it perfect and it is. This is the cleanest shop I have ever been in. I recommend this shop to every person that asks about my tattoos.

I have been going to Allan since I was 18 he has done all my work, both arms are almost completely sleeved and plus have many more! I get stopped everyday all day long about how beautiful Allan's work is! He has been voted number 1 in Acadiana for many years because it is definitely the number 1 shop in this area! I love going in and getting ink and hanging out with Allan he is such a great guy! I recommend him to everyone you will not be disappointed!

Their piercer India is amazing! She is very professional and kept her station very clean and sanitary. She has a great personality and answered all of my questions. The art work that has been done here is probably the best in Lafayette that you could get, and for great prices! Looking into booking for myself, as should all of you!

Allan is the man. He’s always been very polite and professional, and makes sure that you love what you see before working on you. His prices are great compared to a lot of people. He’s also very friendly and will tell stories and jokes to you while tattooing. All in all, Mr. Erwin is one of the best around.
