This place is fantastic! My wife and I get something done everytime we come to New Orleans. We literally plan our trip around these guys availability. Flex and Shawn are true artist. Clean environment and just super cool guys. I've had several things done. In December my wife had something Shawn designed for her to represent our travels.( a really cool old school airplane). Look you could sit here all day just talking to these guys! They are professional, artistic and just plain damn cool!

I decided to get my first tattoo in my favorite American city, and Idle Hands exceeded my every expectation. I was super nervous, and considering flying home to NY for Rising Dragon where my husband got his first one done 20 years ago; Idle Hands reviews and reputation swayed me in favor of sticking with my heart and getting it done in NOLA. I recommend anyone contemplating a tattoo in New Orleans go to Idle Hands Tattoo. Their studio is top notch and they are extremely professional and courteous. I was visiting New Orleans and set up an appointment with Shawn with a design I had created. Shawn was amazing he drew my design and did an outstanding job and my tattoo is simply amazing. Shawn was very friendly and we had a great conversation. Thanks for an outstanding experience.

Idle Hands has been great to me from day one! When I came back from Army training, Flex did an ARMY tattoo on my army and it was a great job! I have been to him ever since. He has done a half sleeve on my arm which looks phenomenal! I recommend Flex to anyone whos looking to get a tattoo! Hes tattoo strong!

I got some Amazing work done by Flex who was very clean and professional. I talked to him and his partner via email for months to set up the designs and placements. Once we got to the shop we were not disappointed. Their job was impeccable. My husband and I are very satisfied with the end results.
