Really loved going to True North ! Great atmosphere; the artist Brian is not only wicked talented but easy to talk to which is nice. Not intimidating like some shops can be. Relaxed and clean! My girlfriend loved her tattoo (part of which was freehand) we will most definitely be back!

I got my conch pierced today and Fallon absolutely nailed it. She made me feel super at-ease and she knew exactly how to make the process as pain-free as possible. She is extremely sweet and accommodating. The shop also has the best selection of quality jewelry I’ve ever seen. I’ll never go anywhere else again!

My daughter and I wanted a unique design and had something in our minds but no complete images. We gave Sarah pieces of what we wanted plus a picture I took. She designed a beautiful camp and mountain scene. She was incredible with her artistry and gave us exactly what we had in our minds. Waited to write the review to see how we healed. No issues at all. She is great!

The other day i went to get my vertical labret done, it was the best experience i’ve had with a piercer in Maine by far. the placement was perfect and the experience was wonderful. They use the correct jewelry, and ask you if you’re interested in any other pieces rather than a simple stud, they always make sure you like the placement before they stab you, they talk you through everything they’re doing, unlike so many places around here. I’m really happy to have a shop that knows what they’re doing.

Stopped in for a nose piercing with Fallon, she was incredible. She answered all my questions and offered up long term support for the healing process. Clean and professional!! Did I mention she had a great selection of jewelry?!? 10/10 will see her for all future work!!

While the staff is nice and the place is sterile, I wouldn't recommend going there for piercings.
Both of my piercings fell out within 24 hours. One of them swelled so much that a bigger bar had to be put in. I understand they're a business and need to make money, but they charged me an additional $20 to change out the jewelry.
They really need to update their refund policy on piercings.

I've gotten all three of my tattoos done here and they're so fantastic and wonderful, they have an extremely clean shop and everyone there puts in a lot of work for their clients to make sure they leave with something cool and suited for them! I just got one done by Rob and he did a phenomenal job understanding the basis of what I wanted and then making it so much more cool then what I had in mind, plus he made sure I was comfortable and ok the entire time! So if you want to get something done I highly recommend seeing everyone there!

Got my first tattoo here. The people that work there were very patient with me and answered all of my questions/ concerns. It's a very calming, down to earth environment which definitely helped calm my nerves. Cleaner than other places I'd checked out too. My tattoo turned out amazing and with no healing issues.
