Overall, I had an amazing experience at Kokopelli's. As a native to Los Angeles, I was thrilled to learn that here at Kokopelli's in Bangor, they only charge $35 a hole as opposed to different prices for different piercing locations. While they don't do the piercing I was initially hoping to get, I decided that for the price, I would instead get two other piercings. Brittney was very friendly and reassuring during the piercing procedure. She gave me the option for a countdown or a surprise before the poke. After the piercings were done, she let me get up and have a look in the mirror and I was very pleased with her work as well as the aftercare instructions she gave me.

I do have one complaint, and that was the bandaging method. Rather than gauze and gentle medical tape, I was fixed up with paper towels and scotch tape. This seemed a little sketch to me while I was lying in the chair, but it wasn't until a few moments ago (day 3) that I realized my skin bruised and tore where I removed the tape. If not for this, I'd be leaving a 5-star review.

For the low price, I completely understand having a small budget for bandaging, but I did leave a 20% tip and I hope Kokopelli's will consider upgrading to more appropriate bandages to send the clients home with.

My fiance and I love going here. They have just about everything we go in looking for and I've gotten a few piercings as well. But last time we went, we got ourselves the micro NC. It wasn't that cheap and it looked like it would last for a bit. We dropped it on our carpet floor and it smashed.. I'm pretty disappointed.

The woman who did my piercing was the best. I got my naval piercing a year ago by someone else, who not only put it in crooked and not far in enough, but it rejected. The girl that looked at it here told me exactly what she could do and knew exactly what she was talking about. She was very gentle and so good at it that when she finished putting the jewelry in I didn’t even know she was done. She sterilized the equipment right in front of me and marked where she would pierce, unlike the place i went to before. It’s been 3 days since i got it re-pierced and it already looks as if i have had it for years. it is all healed up, and doesn’t hurt whatsoever. It looks 3,000 times better than the first one. I DEFINITELY recommend going here!!!

Clean, professional, and wicked fast! I walked in to get my lip pierced and walked out 5 minutes later with a new hole in my head. Janis was great and I hardly felt anything. Thanks so much! Will definitely go back!

I went to kokpelli'son June - 15 - 21. The artist name was Brittney. She was very professional, courteous, patient and informative. I highly recommend her for her work and professionalism. This young lady knows what she is doing. I would highly recommend her and and tell people to ask for her. Thank you Brittney!!!

The place seems clean, and I was able to walk in and walk out with three piercings, it was lacking in experience from other places I’ve been pierced.
The piercer didn’t introduce herself, and I wasn’t shown any of the needles or jewelry before she did the piercings. Other places I’ve been they go over all the tools, and how they’ll be used. Maybe she was thrown off because she had an apprentice observing? I also didn’t get a list of aftercare instructions, and that was a first for me. Luckily I knew how to take care of new piercings, because the information I was given verbally was minimal.
The piercings however look great and are healing nicely, so I would go back, but wouldn’t recommend this shop for someone who’s never been pierced before.

My piercings, dermals and tattoos I’ve gotten here have all been wonderful and healed perfectly. David and Luke have done several tattoos for me and they are awesome, exactly what I asked for and very reasonably priced. They have taken crudely put together concepts and brought them to life far better than my non-artist ass ever could. Chelsea has done multiple piercings for me and they have all healed without issue. The tattoo and piercing staff are all passionate about what they do and the conversations are always a pleasure.

I've gotten every single one of my many piercings here and they've all been done flawlessly. They do an excellent job and they're very kind and professional. A great family owned business. I highly recommend!

Great prices, professional staff, and convenient location. I have had all of my piercings done here by Janis and have never had any issues. I have also had a few piercings done by their second piercer, Chelsea. I would not trust going to any other shop.
