I went to Black Door for my largest piece. Experience was bad from the beginning. My artist was super hard to communicate with, could never reach them. They cancelled on me day of my tattoo. Rescheduled and finally went to get it after waiting so long. All was done I was okay! They have a lifetime touch up policy. My tattoo is supposed to be solid and it’s not the ink went away inside of my piece and I also got a finger tattoo of a heart that is now just half a line because it also went away. I’ve tried contacting the artist to fix it but it’s been months and haven’t heard from her. The owner wrote back to me one time telling me the artist would be reaching out to me. I messaged him back a month later saying I haven’t heard from them, explaining my whole experience and he no longer got back to me after that. I paid over $600 for my work and it’s not finished and some is gone, I’m so upset and I won’t ever use this place again.

My two friends and I got tattoos while in town and Myles was seriously incredible. He was so accommodating, patient and his work was amazing. We were so impressed. The customer service was great and we can’t recommend this place enough!!

never getting work done here again. my set of what was supposed to be 2 identical tattoos is not only severely misaligned, but the lining on the second was very lazy and misshapen almost as if the artist didn't even go by the same stencil. i'm a patient person and i did politely mention before we began the lining that one was positioned noticeably higher than the other. the artist dismissed my concern. not too professional of him considering i was paying him for something that will be on my body forever.
in the end im not too bothered, i'm still happy with the way it looks but in no way is it high quality work. so if you take your ink very seriously, don't get it done here. im not even mad, i just can't trust young tattoo artists. will be taking my business to pins and needles in the future.
