Every one of our staff members takes pride in their work and in our client's experience while getting tattooed or pierced. We provide a safe, clean, and positive environment for everyone. To be tattooed you must be 18+ & every client must provide identification. Parents must be present for any minor being pierced. Identification and birth certificate must be available at the time of piercing. Kids 5+ are welcome for ear piercing. Starter jewelry is always provided in our prices with upgrade option. Small/minimal tattoos can be taken as walk in. Larger more intricate pieces require a consultation."

I just had a few piercings done at Iron Lotus.. I must admit, I was a tad nervous at first.. But Tony is a professional.. I became instantly comfortable.. He assured me I was not a little b***h and took it like a champ.. I will be making an appointment soon for some art work and a few cover ups.. I felt like I just made fast friends.. So, if you're in the market for a tattoo or a piercing, and in the Joppa, Edgewood area, call them up.. You will not be disappointed..

I love this shop. I haven't gotten a tattoo from here yet, but I have bought some healing supplies and gotten a piercing and some jewelry here. The people here are so kind and awesome! The guy who did my media piercing actually sold my friend one of his bug displays off the wall, earning so many brownie points! Yesterday I had gotten a tattoo at the convention in baltimore (mentioning because it was a completely different artist than anyone at this shop) and he told me to pick up some saniderm so I could go back to the gym right away. Nowhere like cvs sells saniderm or tagaderm that is readily available and I called around asking if sometattoo shops would sell me some. These guys didn't hesitate to say yes! This shop is so welcoming and awesome! I will never think twice about getting anything done here!

Do NOT get your tattoos done here. I called ahead and came in, I told the guy what I wanted, and he complained about doing the tattoo saying “it was a headache” and “annoying”... this being my first tattoo I wasn’t going to have someone who didn’t want to be looking forward to what they were doing to even touch me. So I left. Not a friendly environment. I recommend getting your tattoos elsewhere, can’t say anything about piercings.

these guys are super nice made me feel really comfortable. i walked in on a humble one night on Saturday no less & they took me! Tod did my tattoo which was a huge cover up on my left shoulder blade of a coy fish & lotus flower, her did an AWESOME job & @ a good price. they are very clean here which is more than I can say for some of the other places I checked out. the guy that does the piercings ( sorry love i forgot ur name) even helped me out with issues I was having with my cartledge piercings which he did't do. I've already scheduled my next one. Save yourself time searching just go here!!

I spoke to Mike about a tattoo from a little bit ago. I was very unhappy with it, he said we can do a few things, gave me the choice. He hooked it up now can't wait for it to get healed up. I went in for a semi colon tattoo with the words not my end. Mike was very light handed(others have really dug into my skin) that i barely felt him. My lines a clean and perfect on the first round(normally tales two or three for my skin). I will deff be sending everyone i know there!

Came in spontaneously for a friend with some piercings - HUGE MISTAKE. He was welcoming, but the placing of the piercings were completely wrong and the jewelry used was too short making it even more impossible to heal. Will probably never return.
