Both Dave and Maddie pierced me and they are so sweet and really good about placing the piercing and listening to my concerns and they’re also not afraid to say no if they think a piercing wouldn’t be a good idea. i went in for my thirds on one side and my seconds were infected so they advised me to wait and i just came back and they honored my payment from before and it looks great! i also got my nose pierced here and it looks soooo cute. anyways they do really high quality work and it’s WORTH EVERY PENNY. love them both and will be coming back for more <3

Went for a consult with Jose. Like one other reviewer mentioned happening to her, he was on his phone 90% of the time, tried to get me to get a tattoo of everything but what I wanted, and came off as extremely rude. I had to explain things to him multiple times, but it went in one ear and out the other. Some of the "suggestions" and things he said made no sense and struck me as purposefully contrarian or flat out trolling. Some of the information he told me was blatantly incorrect. Example: He tried to tell me that the tattoo I wanted was impossible to do... but no surprise I got it done by someone else and it looks great. He clearly just didn't want to do the tattoo, which is fine, but instead of directly telling me that decided to waste both of our time.
Despite this, the people at the front desk seemed nice. I suspect this is a Jose problem and not a shop problem, so I'll give two stars instead of one.

Dave is great and really knowledgeable on everything piercing and tattoo. I went here over the weekend to get my third lobe done and a tattoo consultation (as I plan on getting my first tattoo soon). Dave was very professional and very informative on everything I had a question on and concerns I had. The piercing process was very quick and easy. I will for sure be coming back for more piercings in the future after my current new ones heal.

Dave was great to work with. He is a knowledgeable piercer and took his time talking me through why the piercing I wanted wasn't the best choice for where I wanted it placed. I appreciate his professionalism. The option he suggested looks great. He gave thorough aftercare instructions and let me know some things I should be careful with as I am healing. Booking the appointment was super easy online and Dave was fast to respond and answer my questions. Prices are fair. Highly recommend.

Came to Dio for matching family tattoos and my best friend's memorial tattoo for her dad (guitar). He does amazing work and makes the experience very relaxed for everyone. His artwork is incredible.

Took my 10 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time. When we arrived she was extremely nervous but, Dave was patient with her and explained every thing he was doing. When we left she said « mom, why was I nervous?! » Thank you for a great experience.

Originally came to Big City for a piercing for me and some family members through a recommendation. David took great care of me, my wife, and daughter. Excellent skill, care, and pricing. Great customer service in every way. I have since had quite a bit if tattoo work done by Dio which has been great in all aspects. Highly recommend the business and both of these guys for whatever you need!

Went in yesterday for the first time to get a second set of lobe piercings. I absolutely loved the vibe of the place... the decor, the music, the people... all of it! Securing my appointment online was easy and I received sufficient reminders leading up to my appointment. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, explaining everything to me with patience. Dave did my piercings and I'd already heard great things about him. And he lives up to the hype, y'all! He was so personable with me and explained the process and options with me. It was a fantastic experience all around. If I decide on more piercings, 8 will definitely be returning to Big City Body Art!

Dave is the best piercer that I have ever been to. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional which makes the experience that much more comfortable. So far I have gotten a helix, nostril, and septum piercing and they are all healing really well. He always provides adequate information on how to care for the piercings. And if there are ever any issues with piercings you have you can always contact him and he will help you out with,it the best that he can. I always appreciate a piercer that you can communicate with after a piercing because I think its essential in order for the piercing to heal successfully.
