I made an appointment last month with Caitlin. I sent her an email of my idea and set up an appointment and got everything squared away. The day of, Caitlin showed me the drawing she did of my idea and I LOVED IT. She THEN hit me with an unexpected second variation drawing of my idea with a twist and my goodness it was SOOOOOO much better than my original idea. I loved her design! With her new design I actually changed the location of where I wanted my tattoo and that was perfectly fine with her. The tattooing itself was quick and she continuously asked me if i was doing okay, which I appreciated. The shop was so clean and they played great music. Overall Redemption has an amazing, friendly staff and plays good music. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Redemption tattoo is a really good shop. This place is special, and I am so happy It exists. The artists are professional and so talented. The pricing is very reasonable. I recommend you check out all the artists and see whose style you like best.
While everyone here is a solid tattooer, I absolutely LOVE Jebb Riley. He’s one of the best I’ve ever worked with. His drawings and color choices are brilliant. Thank you Jebb.

I was tattooed by Andrew. For starters I drove an hour and change out of my way to see him and he was highly recommended by a popular artist! I was following his work in the meantime while waiting and was always in awe by his posts. If I had to say anything negative it would be that he has a heavy hand with line work however his lines are SOLID and his shading is amazing. I have 15 tattoos now and this one is one of my top favorites! Seriously great job and so much potential and growth! Absolutely will be going back for another.

The artists here are downright amazing, I see Mike Shea exclusively for all my ink and his work is amazing, Eric Lynch is equally amazing as is every artist they bring on board. First shop to be legalized in Massachusetts and the talent shows

My friend and I got a tattoo made by Deirdre. She took all our opinions under consideration and remade the designs until we were satisfied. It was my friend's first tattoo so Deirdre made sure she was comfortable and ready and kept checking in about how she was feeling which we really appreciated. The tattoo came out so much better than we expected. I will definitely go back to get my future tattoos.

I followed one of my favorite artists to this shop and tbh the owner seems super weird and I wouldn't be supporting someone with such a boomer-esque fixation on Mass Ave car parking if I weren't following a specific artist. They had fliers all over the counter about how losing 6 meter spots for the six (6!) businesses that share that block is going to ruin the entire economy. Like bro, making your artists wait while they move their car every 2 hours when the meter runs out (and taking that spot from all your business friends for the maximum time allowed) isn't a great business model, if you don't think your clients are tough enough to walk from Porter or call a taxi idk what to tell you. If you only want helpless suburban customers then why pay city rent. Bonus points for having a decent bike rack out front though.

I was given a GC and referred to Jebb to get a very specific tattoo that I've wanted for 15-years. It is my first, and my only tattoo, and Jebb patiently walked me through the process from start to finish and far exceeded my expectations on the final piece. I can't recommend him enough.
