Holistic Ink Boston Tattoo Shop

I scheduled 3 delicate tattoos with Tombi @ Holistic Ink and went in yesterday for the work. Nancy was really helpful and friendly with getting me set up and introducing me to Tombi. Tombi is here from Saigon, Vietnam — while we had a language barrier, he was warm and patient as we figured out placing/sizing for all 3 tattoos. He took his time and really wanted to make sure I was happy with placement and completely comfortable as he got started. Nancy checked in with each tattoo in case either of us needed translation help— but we didn’t need it! I could tell Tombi was very experienced and I trusted his vision right off the bat.

Needless to say— each tattoo came out PERFECT! I noticed that Bi had bigger pieces showcased on his instagram— so at the end I pointed to a big floral piece and gestured that I wanted him to do a large-scale piece on my hip at a later date. I’ll be booking with him towards the end of January and I can’t wait to see his talents on a larger scale. Thank you Tombi, Nancy and everyone @ Holistic Ink. Such a welcoming crew— will definitely be going back exclusively for more ink!

Wonderful staff of warm, friendly professionals is what I found when I walked through the door for my consultation with Vinny. I’d researched his work online and Holistic Ink(One of Boston’s Best), as the potential place for me to get my “sleeve” idea done. Not only did Vinny put together a computer image that day, we discussed options and how the large piece would flow. From there, in just three remarkable sessions, I watched a true artist of his craft develop and complete my vision of the tattoo that I’ve wanted for over two years. I let Vinny use his experience in technique and talent to create a beautiful artwork that I show off every day!! Thank you Holistic Ink, for taking on a new customer and making a friend for life!

I had such an excellent experience at Holistic. They stayed open late for me and my friend to come in because we were running late. Both Vinny and Billy were super friendly and kind. This was my first time getting a tattoo and I felt comfortable and well cared for the whole time! Billy did a great job, the tattoo is very clean and I love it!!

It was my first time attending this shop. I was well communicated with prior to my visit and the day of. I knew what to expect, all protocols for the shop and procedure. My vision for my tattoo was drawn up to my expectation which lets me know the artist paid full attention. During the procedure, I was asked a few times how I was feeling to adhere to my needs. Very nice work and didnt take long at all. I have a few more tats in mind and would definitely return. Thank you Holistic Ink.

Jamie is cool, chill, nonjudgmental, and good at making you feel calm. On top of that they're a fantastic artist! Some of the best lines I've ever seen and they have such a good sense of style and aesthetic. The front desk staff is friendly and kind and makes you feel very welcome. The place is clean and has good protective precautions in place. Absolutely recommend Jamie!

My artist Jamie came in even though it was a snow storm! He was incredibly nice and made the whole process so easy. It was my first tattoo and he was the best. He helped me make my idea a reality and gave me clear instructions for the aftercare. I will defiantly go back here for any other tattoos I get!

Called to see if I could book an appointment and was told I had to come in for a consultation and book in person (totally fine). I told the girl I live over an hour away but would get there when I could, but she was very accommodating and said I could instead text them pictures of what I wanted tattooed and she would connect me with an artist and get back to me. That was last Tuesday, it’s currently Sunday. I sent them the pictures immediately after hanging up Tuesday night, and texted them again on Thursday, letting them know I’d appreciate a response whether or not they’d be able to take me because I was looking to get the tattoo 2 weeks from that day (mentioned during phone conversation). I have still received no answer and will be looking elsewhere. Very disappointed; I was excited because of the reviews but very unprofessional to ghost a customer.

Jamie gave me an amazing tattoo! I wanted something delicate and with fine lines and he was able to easily bring my design to life. I also really appreciated that he told me with fine line work I might need to come back for a touch - very professional and good to know. I’ve caught the tattoo bug and will only be coming to holistic Ink going forward!

My husband and I came in for our first tattoos last week. We both had a great experience working with Jay. He is incredibly talented and made us feel safe and comfortable getting our first tattoos. We absolutely love our fine line/tiny tattoos and will definitely be back for more!

I was doing research on tattoo artists and my friend recommended Billy from Hollistic Ink. Via email in October 2020, we were told Billy was booked out until March 2021, which bummed us out. Never the less, we were ok with checking other artists out from there. My best friend and I walked in for a consultation and Billy was kind enough to squeeze us into his schedule in Jan 2021 for quick, small tattoos! That was already a plus! The day finally came and Billy made us feel super comfortable and walked us through everything since it was our first tattoo. He was also very patient with us when we asked a lot of questions. Staff was also really friendly and accommodated everyone who walked through their doors. Everything was clean, organized, and professional. My friend and I walked out OBSESSED with our tattoos and we couldn't be happier!! I highly recommend this place and their artists! Thanks, Billy!!
