Stephen was amazing, i got a double nose piercing and was nervous about it not being even and his level of perfection was able to put me at ease and he did an amazing job!

Stephen pierced my conch precisely and quickly with skillful knowledge. His hands and needle felt smooth like hot knife on butter. Hardly any pain. Very thorough with after care as well. I like that he talked thoughtfully from the beginning as he set up so it eased me into the piercing process and calmed my nerves.

If you're looking for an honest, respectable tattoo parlor without the pretentiousness, this is the place y'all.
Will definitely be returning for my rook and jewelry change in 2 months. Thanks man, you rock!

I got a small tattoo on my ankle and I love it! The artist (Courtney) worked with me on a design and was so patient even when I changed my plan completely. At the end, I felt a little faint (because I don't do well with needles) and they were so great. They made sure I was okay, gave me orange juice, and were patient while I sat in there for a while. SUCH great service.

Went to get my nose pierced, and was immediately greeted upon entrance. Stephen, the piercer, was extremely friendly and quick with the procedure. He is very detail oriented and easy to talk to if you are nervous about getting something done. He walks you through the entire thing so nothing is a shock. I would definitely go back again!

I got my nipples pierced here and the piercer was absolutely wonderful. Professional, informative, and clearly very concerned for the client's comfort and safety. This was my first experience here and I have had a lot of piercings over the years at many places and I would say this would be the one I would return to.

Stephen, who is the resident piercer, was wonderful through the whole process. He was profession and very knowledgeable. I got a little light headed and he knew exactly what to do. I have used this shop in the past for tattoos and piercings and they've been wonderful every time. I even brought a friend with me this time!

i feel bad writing a negative review because the piercer was super nice and personable, but i don’t want anyone to have a similar experience:
i went in for a bridge piercing, he was hesitant to do it at first for a couple reasons (bridges are tricky and temperamental) but ultimately we decided to do it. we spent awhile marking up the spot, to be fair i did see the marking before getting it done, however since i’m not a piercer i couldn’t fully imagine how it would look when done based on the marks and the way he described the location he was going to pierce was a bit confusing. even though the marks were straight, the piercing itself ended up pretty crooked which he said we could fix later on, but after looking at more photos of what a bridge is supposed to look like it was clearly pierced too shallow, too high up, crooked, and with a relatively short bar that also seems a little thick for my anatomy.

you could make the argument that this is how it had to be done to suit my anatomy, but i know that isn’t the case. i ended up taking it out later that night to minimize scarring. i’m sure they would be competent on simpler more common piercings such as a nostril or ear, they seemed to be knowledgeable, but if i were getting a surface piercing i would advise going somewhere else.

I did not care for the environment of the place. The people there were extremely nice. I was there for my appointment with plenty of time and it was about a half an hour later before I was able to get pierced. The needle took longer than it should've to get through and the piercing is crooked. It was extremely red when it was first done and for weeks after. This was 2 months ago and I'm still cleaning it exactly how I should be and I'm still having issues with it. I was just recently able to change it without it hurting. I'm not saying that they are a bad place and that you shouldn't go there, they do excellent work where tattoos are concerned. I was just not happy with my naval piercing.

I went to paper city to get a belly button piercing. I was greeted when I walked in the door by Kevin, he was extremely sweet and courteous. Talked about what I was there for and while I was waiting talked about Led Zepplin. Made me feel comfortable. I was then greeted by Stephen. He did my piercing and it was so fast and painless. I absolutely reccomend them 100%. I will Definitely be returning for any future piercing or tattoos!

Got matching tattoos with a friend, the place was very clean and the owner was super friendly and able to take our appointment on a short notice. He made sure we were comfortable since we were first timers and told us everything we needed to know beforehand. Would definitely recommend Paper City Tattoo.
