I love, love LOVE my tattoo done by Alika! I am over 60, and this was my first serious tattoo (to cover a small scar near my ankle), so I was a bit nervous, but Alika and the staff completely put me at ease. Alika modified my design to make it really striking, and he was very patient and professional in making sure I got the look I wanted- and the results are better than I had ever hoped for! I already have another appointment for him to modify the only other (old, faded and pretty loser) tattoo I have. Alika is a true artist, yet Black Pearl has EXCELLENT pricing. But be warned- he is so popular it is impossible to get a walk-in, so it's best to make an appointment on-line.

Just had two tattoos done this afternoon and I can't recommend this place enough. The shop is very clean with a great atmosphere (artwork, music, etc.). Every staff member I interacted with was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with. I had the pleasure of working with Chris and had a great experience. He is an incredibly talented artist and made the process fun and laid back. I've already made an appointment for another tattoo next month and can't wait!

I got my tattoo last summer done by Emily. She did an amazing job. The lines were perfect and I am so happy with it. Great prices and super friendly staff. I was a walk in, and she drew my stencil within a couple minutes and took me right away. I highly recommend.
