After thinking about a very special tattoo for probably 15 years I finally went in yesterday. This was my very first tattoo so was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. Kris is a true artist and made me feel very at ease. He has a very calming energy about him which helped me a lot! The image I had done (from a necklace my Mom wore for most of her adult life), came out exactly how I wanted it. I could not be happier with my experience and would definitely return for another!!!!

Great service all around! Called on a whim on a Thursday for a next day appointment. Got in, gave them the art, they tweaked it to make it work, and within an hour, BOOM, a great tattoo! Kris was personable and great throughout the whole process (and patient when I kept moving the placement!). Would 100% recommend this place -- local guy, knows many of our friends; thumbs up!

Had a great experience with Ephy. I gave a few examples of some pieces that i liked and she put the perfect piece together. It was exactly what I wanted and came out beautiful. The place was super clean and with COVID protocols in places I felt 100% safe. I would absolutely recommend Ephy, but everyone I spoke with at Coastline seemed awesome. Kris has given me five tattoos now, and I love all of them. My tattoos make me feel closer to my true self every time I see them, which is in large part thanks to Kris's ability to listen, process, and then create. My most recent tattoo is a good sized pink and yellow rose on a stem with some smaller buds and leaves in multiple shades of green. It is one I have been envisioning for years and it is definitely more beautiful in reality than it was in my head. I appreciate Kris's ability to talk out what you want and integrate his artistic skill to make it even better. The whole crew is welcoming and the space is safe and comfortable. My favorite tattoo spot and artist, hands down.

I've been getting tattooed by the owner of Coastline since he's picked up a gun. Literally. Just by describing an idea, he was able to transform my back into a true work of art. The studio is immaculate, relaxing, and super gay friendly. They are more than willing to work with you on your original art. Trust me, this is THE place to go for the tattoo you want while visiting Ptown. I'll be traveling from the west coast to get work done there in 2 weeks. Since the studio opened I have never gone anywhere else.
