Best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. The shop is immaculate and has an amazing aesthetic. All the staff and artists were very welcoming and friendly! Matt brought the idea in my head to life and was awesome to work with! He also periodically told dad jokes which kept me laughing. 13/10 would recommend.

9th Realm Gallery is hands down the best place for amazing body artwork! I have been looking for a realistic camping/hiking sleeve incorporating my dogs for the past few years. When I went into the gallery for the first time to meet Gabe I really didn’t know that he was going to take my idea and completely change it to a design that I could never envision. He absolutely killed it!! And it’s only been 3 sessions. His attention to detail is so precise that I can’t even believe how real it looks! Sitting in the chair for 5+ hours is so easy because Gabe is a great and funny guy to talk to and he feels like a really good friend that you would see everyday. They even have a full fridge of cheese! I will only ever go here for any of my future tattoos, but for now I’m going to let babe finish my sleeve that he is absolutely killing! I can’t wait for the sleeve to be done but it’s bittersweet because of the time that I have spent with Gabe and is amazing wife Leanne!

I have been to 9th Real 4 times now over the past couple years and am now having my 4th tattoo done there. Matt is an outstanding artist and excellent to work with. If you are looking for a custom tattoo, he is very easy to work with and extremely collaborative. I have found all the staff there to be very friendly and helpful. The artists there are in high demand so expect to book well in advance.

I received a tattoo with Tyler recently and had THE BEST tattoo experience to date. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by staff and the sweetest pup. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I had an idea in mind if what I wanted. Tyler was able to draw up a few options for me and every one of them was so great, I had trouble picking. Tyler’s room was a very clean and comfortable setting. He made me feel extremely comfortable during the process. I was so pleased with this experience; I could go on and on.

Absolutely would recommend! I'm from Florida & came up to Salem for a girls trip. I got extremely lucky that Carly was able to take me as a walk in, as usually this is an appointment only shop. It had been about twenty years from my last tattoo - I was nervous. However after about 10 minutes in the lounge area I was quickly put at ease. Carly was amazing - we had chat I showed her a couple ideas of what I was looking for & explained a little bit about myself & she got exactly what I was going for. I absolutely love my tattoo which in on the top of my foot. While she was in the design phase one of the owners helped do my intake form & we had a great conversation she really put me at ease. The shop itself was clean, beautifully decorted & well maintained. Everyone there was nice, cool relaxed it was a totally different vibe from when I was younger.The entire experience made fall back in love with tattoos. This shop, it's owners & artists are truly one of a kind & amazing!

9th Realm Gallery is unparalleled in terms of quality and service. Without a doubt the coolest tattoo studio I've had the pleasure of visiting. The art around the shop is endless and captivating. The artists and staff are all top notch and they go above and beyond to accommodate their clients. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was a part of the 9th Realm family. From the snack bar to the music, conversation and overall atmosphere/cleanliness, I've never felt more comfortable while getting tattooed.

Matt Driscoll is a beautiful human being and incredible artist. I’m always stoked to watch him perform his magic and spend time chatting with him; and of course wear his art on my skin! I can’t wait for my next session at 9th Realm Gallery!

Absolutely loved this place. One of the most beautiful tattoo shops I’ve ever been to, and everyone was so friendly and nice. Super helpful since I did make a last minute appointment and they accepted me for a walk in. Matt tattooed me and he did an amazing job! Will definitely be going back when I visit Salem again.

Walked in on a whim while visiting Salem with a friend and got extremely lucky to get in with Matt bc of a cancellation. I wanted a basic tattoo and with my permission he gave me a masterpiece. He’s talented and hilarious and the place is clean, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

What an incredible experience with 9th Realm! From the first contact with LeAnne the studio had such a warm and welcoming environment and they were so accommodating to my last minute appointment request. My tattoo appointment was with Tyler and he was awesome - not only did he completely customize my design but he was super collaborative with the design and placement. Not to mention his line work is UNREAL! So crispy and clean! My tattoo is incredible and I could NOT be happier with my end to end experience with 9th Realm - highly recommend and will definitely return on my next trip to Salem!

Matt is hands down one of the best artists around. He's been working on a full sleeve for me off and on for a while now. Working on it as we speak actually.

The whole crew is awesome. Gabe, Leanne, Jess and the rest. Quality work, amazing people, great atmosphere, just a great all around experience.

The love for art is first here and it shows.
