Neil England is a all around incredible, award winning artist, who did a incredible cover/ fix on a hack tat that was a embarrassment on my arm... half way done and its ALREADY 10x better looking! Pretty grateful!

Empire Tattoo Boston (Somerville) is my favorite shop to get tattooed at.
The staff here feels more like a family than a tattoo studio.
The artists are always helping each other like a collective -
it doesn't feel like anyone here is just renting a chair.
And there's so much talent to choose from!
I've gotten pieces from Neil England, Coralynn Rowell,
Ramon Negron, Drew Vetrano, Moge,
and their guest artists Ken Dean and Yang Li.
I can't wait for my next appointment!

The receptionists (maybe artists, we dont know because they werent very welcoming) didn't look up from their phones even though I waited patiently for about 10 minutes directly in front of them. They continued a side conversation and refused to make eye contact or welcome us. This poor customer service is a shame for a local business and I will not return.
