The entire staff at LRTC was wonderful! I appreciated the quick response and communication from Valerie. She was able to schedule a lengthy family session with fairly little notice. David was our artist and he was absolutely wonderful!! Very friendly and full of shenanigans to keep you occupied during the session. Great prices and even better staff. I will definitely go back!

I went and got my one year survivor tattoo from domestic violence. This tattoo is very very special to me. I brought ideas of what I wanted. Matt nailed it. I could NOT be more happy with his work. The shop was the cleanest tattoo place I had ever been. Matt was extremely professional. This is my 14th tattoo and this will be my new tattoo place for all my future pieces.

We took our very apprehensive 7 yr old daughter here today to finally get her ears pierced... they were great!! They made her feel very comfortable, and it was very clean! We would high recommend them for girls ear piercings!! Our daughter said it didn’t even hurt!!!

My mom got a tattoo done today. Didn't know this place was in Byron Center. Went in to check it out and we loved it! Super clean and welcoming. Staff was friendly. My mom's tattoo turned out great. I will be coming back in a couple weeks to get mine done!

I just had my first tattoo done here with Drew. I was immediately impressed by the overall professionalism and friendliness of the shop. Not only did Drew do great work, but he also made it an easy and enjoyable first time. His experience really proved itself. I will definetely be back in the future

Not very impressed.
Waited over a year to get in to an artist as he had been in high demand and moving around with no set location. Extremely nice during my first encounters with him, he seemed great!
Had an appointment booked with him in October and he texted the same day (very close to the appointment time) asking if we could reschedule because he needed more time drawing. No problem at all,I’m a patient and obviously want the drawing to be at its best.
I have literally never heard from that artist again.
I emailed him a few times to see the drawings or if he had anything drawn up at all and to set another date and got nothing. Even emailed to say I wanted to cancel as to not have his time wasted by starting a drawing when I wasn’t interested anymore and received nothing.
A few months had passed and I thought maybe I would give it one more shot and called him a few weeks ago to see if he got any of my messages and nothing back. Very turned off by the lack of communication and to me it was really unprofessional considering how many ways I attempted to contact him (2 texts, 2 emails and 1 call from October to date) and got nothing but silence. It was deafening and really spoke to the character of the person I was dealing with.
If he wasn’t interested in doing my tattoo I would have appreciated an email or call saying so instead of wondering if he didn’t get my messages at all, if he was overbooked or not interested in doing my tattoo. I was not impressed that I waited a year just to be blown off 110% across the board. I obviously wouldn’t want someone doing a tattoo on me if they didn’t want to so just saying that to me would have pushed me to find someone else which is honestly not a big deal for me since I do have other tattoos. I scheduled another appointment with someone else there but ultimately decided not to use this business as I had been in there with a friend more recently and the artist saw me and looked away and still said nothing as if he had never seen me or had a few consultations with me.
For someone very highly rated in this area I would never recommend him to anyone regardless of his work due to the way he handled this situation and I wouldn’t go back to this shop because of it as well. Not looking to stop slow his business so I left his name out of it but anyone that knows me personally will get a bad recommendation for this person if they asked.

Went to Matt last year for a tattoo on my shoulder. He was very understanding when I wanted to make adjustments to the size of the tattoo after drawing up the outline and placing it on my shoulder. The process took around 3 hours and was really pleased by how it turned out so far. He told me that I would need to wait a couple of weeks to make another appointment to add the finishing details. Well it’s been a year now and I’m still having to jump through hoops just to have someone answer my calls and emails. I texted him multiple times with no answer, emailed lightning revival several times and every time I call there’s always an excuse or the line gets “disconnected”. If I would have known how poor their customer service skills were I would have gone elsewhere. So now I’m left with an unfinished tattoo that I already paid full price for and at this point will need to pay someone that will finish someone else’s work....Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re getting a guaranteed one session tattoo.
